Why are they calling me?

Called, no voice message.
Call back said it was disconnected.

They were calling to lower my credit card interest. I just hung up on the recording.

I talked to a representative from this number. They are trying to lower my interest rate on credit cards. I asked him who he was representing and he would not give me the name of his company. He said they are not a 3rd party but  they represent all the major credit cards: Chase, Bank of America, Sears, Capital One. He then asked me for the expiration date on the card with my highest balance. I told him I wasn't interested and hung up.  He called me back - and I immediately told him to take me off his list and he started arguing with me before I hung up on him again.

When I called this number back (from a different phone), a recording came on that said that this number has been changed but it did not give another number!

Called me from 3194573660.  Scam.

I had a call like this so I messed with him. Told him I had 20 grand on my card. He wanted the card number so I made one up starting with 2 zeros. By the end of the fake numbers he told me to shut up I was wasting his time go to hell.

Typical "lower your credit card rates" bs scam.  Do not engage these people.  They are likely located elsewhere...India or other and you will have no way to contact them directly.  They now have my cell which bugs the $#!% out of me because I rarely give it out.  When they called the house one time and I tried to get off the phone the called got obscenely abusive.  But what can you do if you have no real number to report?  Might have to get an air horn just for them.

Its flavour is best described as ‘neutral’ with a hint of vanilla.
