I have received a call from this number 3 times today between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm. The caller ID says the call is coming from Iowa, but since the number was unfamiliar, I didn't answer. They haven't left any voicemails.

Robocall saying the FBI reports a home break-in every 5 mins or somesuch, a company wants to put a sign on your lawn for "free" security, select one button for more info and another button to be removed from the call list. I hung up.

Telemarketer keeps calling my cell with a recorded message.  I am on a do not call list and this needs to be stopped by law.

I received a call from this number (319-535-2429) at about 6pm. A recorded message says that the FBI reports show home break-ins in my area are on the rise, said 'company' wants to put a sign on my lawn in exchange for "free" security, press one button for more info and another button to be removed from the call list.

Seriously? First - nothing's free - there's ALWAYS a catch. Maybe these are con-artists that are planning on increasing the break-ins in my area themselves?

I believe its all a scam !!! I had two guys come to my house saying they wanted to put signs out in my yard and asked all kinds of questions about the house and who lives here and is there someone always in the house.. they did not have identification, business cards, or were professional. They claimed to be with AMT/ Honeywell security, I turned them down after googling it these are how burglars get in your house. I called the online customer service number and they answer it like a regular person when asked to provide the local company location they give me a number and say they don't have it..?! My boyfriend just received a call from this number and I've been freaking out about this for the last week since these guys came over just because of the fact that we had a burglary 2 houses down and she told me and adt guy came 2 weeks prior to her home. I suggest be safe and armed in your homes !

You must be good at ignoring ads and junk mail.
ADT and to a lesser extent, a few others, advertise like crazy.
Of COURSE IT'S FREE, JUST LIKE your $300 cell pone or cable decoder are FREE, as long as you then sign a contract to pay for SERVICE for X-dollars a month for two years.

They might even market with TOO many INSTALLERS and contractors, sort of like mulit-level marketing or pyramid schemes, or maybe it was just bad luck continuing, as I printed up some FAKE ADT stickers and signs, for my dead sister's vacant house in a drug dealer type of high crime neighborhood. And the guy behind me asked about the ADT signs and stickers I had, being an ADT wholesaler/distributor/whateversomethingorother.

Came out pretty good, just take a high resolution photo closeup in good sunlight of your neighbors ADT sign, then a quick trip to fedex/Kinkos. Tip: tape to windows with shiny foil tape trimmed back, makes a nice shiny fancy border around the decal, better looking than the actual stickers. Then laminate the full size signs, just measure the size on your neighbors lawn.

ps. Saw an ad months back, Lowes was selling wireless alarm systems, which like small companies have had for years, you can HAVE CALL YOU ON your cell or others, instead of a dispatcher at an alarm company. Read years ago, so many false alarms, in big cities police are so slow to respond, that most burglars just ignore the systems and know how quick they need to get in and get out. Historical cool fact, shortly after record players were invented and telephones, you could buy a burglar alarm that would phone the police and play the record saying a burglar alarm was making the telephone call.

I got a call from this number today. Same thing as others have said. Hit any key if you don't want calls from this telemarketer. Funny thing is that 319 is the area code for my hometown in Iowa. I now live in Florida but my mother's birthday is today so I thought she was calling me. Weird, huh?

Received call around 9pm but I didn't recognize it so I didn't answer. After reading these comments I am happy that I did not!! I guess the best rule is if you don't know who it is, ignore it. If it is really legitimate they will keep trying to reach you.
