I got a call from this number claiming they were calling from Microsoft Technical Support about many error reports they'd received from my computer. When I asked (more than once): «How do I know that you are from Microsoft ?», the person did not answer me and kept asking me to go to my computer so he would show me. I asked again my question and the person gave me that phone number inviting me to call anytime. When I asked the name of the company for which he work for, he told me it was System Secure Online Services, which I could not find when I googled it. Call Display was «Unavailable Name & No.»

This number called me and claimed to be microsoft technical support and that they were receiving error reports! they got me to look into my computer into the run box and showed me numerous errors! The problem with this is that they are a scam! when i asked questions he just insisted that he was real and gave me this phone number to call back! He said his name was Peter Parker! lol so fake! He had an indian accent and was very hard to understand! He said he got my number cause thats what the windows was registered as! The problem with that statement is this computer is like 10 years old and i did not register it all! and i had just changed my home number! I got off the phone with him and said i will call him back! Like that is ever going to happen! Oh and he said that they were going to send someone to my house to fix my computer!

I got a call advising that this was "Windows technical support" calling   and that they were getting error reports and needed me to run through things on my computer while I was talking to them on the phone.

I asked if they were from Microsoft and they said "no!"  I asked for the name of the company and said I was concerned as to how they have this information and why they were calling if they were not connected with Microsoft.  

I asked him to please provide his name, the name of a supervisor and the name of the company so that I could investigate and call back.  This is definitely as SCAM!!!!

I got a call for 'Roger' at the 'windows service center' from this phone number.  He wanted me to start a remote access with him so he could fix my computer because my computer has been sending them error message logs at Microsoft.  My son, being a computer programmer and Microsoft Certified Tech, told me immediately do nothing he is asking because they are wanting to remote access your computer looking for financial data to steal.  Thank God for my Son!!  So please, don't fall for this scam!

I got the same call today.  Someone with an accent so thick I could hardly understand him.  I'm in Victoria, BC, Canada.  I asked him "If you know so much about my computer, what version of windows am I running?!" but of course he was babbling so fast I didn't get an answer.  I said "If you really were from MS then my call display wouldn't say "Unavailable name and number" and hung up.
