me: which card company are you with?
rep: visa, mastercard, american express, discover.
me: but which specific bank are you with?
rep: visa mastercard, american express etc.
me: ok
rep: how much debt do you have?
me: 20K plus
rep: and interest rate on your card?
me: 29.99%
rep: that's too high, we will work with your card companies to lower it. can you provide us the card number you want to have the rate lowered?
me: err, no im not giving you anything until i know which company you work with, i'll think about it, give me your phone number and i will call you back?
rep: ummm no i dont have a phone
me: how are you calling me then?
rep: ummm it's a call line, i dont have a number
me: ok then, im not interested
rep: can i call you back instead?
me: no
rep: we can save you lot of money
me: no

My wife just received the same type of call from the same number an hour ago. Qwest said it's a landline in the Orlando, FL metro area (Orange County). I tracked it to a cell phone and the carrier is Royal Street Communications. We live in AZ.

one min ago, I didnt answer, no message left

Missed a call from them on my cell phone that no one except family has the number for.  No message.  Usually means computer for sales call center, survey, or collector for the chick that used to have my number..

Just got a call from this number. Made it through my "spam filter" for calls but didn't recognize the number so I did not answer it. No VM left.

I missed the call on my cell phone, but when I did the search for the number I discovered that it is probably a harassing call.

I just received a call from this number.  I let it go to the answering machine.  Nothing.  If you don't recognize the phone number, don't answer it.  It has to be a scam.

hate these damn people, it should be illegal and they should have to do 5 years for this crap

i got it, we all call them over and over, they turn thier phone off and wait 10 minutes then call them, i also posted thier number on craigslist for iphone 4 for 300, flood thier cell and see how they  like it  :)

OMG I got a call from this number in Fl...I got scared bc I have bad credit. I thought it was it the creditors coming after me! Thanks to everyone for posting prior messages.

You would be surprised what blowing a whistle into the phone can do, especially when you get an unwanted call.  Bust a few eardrums.  Hate those calls.

I received a call from this number. I let voicemail get it, and there was a recording about my credit cards, how there was no problem with them, etc., but that I had to call them back.  I got rid of my credit cards ten years ago, so... harrassment.

these people just called me unknown and when i answered, they hung up. im sick of these people calling me and im at work.

10:45am AZ time. No message. Called back cuz of friends in FL.  Got message that the number cannot be connected to.
