Just got a call from this number as well, but no one talks...

nobody talks. Just another harassing solicitor who has a computer dial for him.

Answered call from 321-608-0079 that shows up on ID as being "Melbourne FL" ... no one would speak ... hung up.

They call almost every day, caller id says SSI.  

Have called 3 times in thirty minutes and no answer!!! Says SSI

ok this is what I found it is a company called SSI survey sampling international a independant research organization. Their website is www.surveysampling.com. The phone service provider appears to be TCG south florida. It also appears to come from a landline in Melbourne florida. Businesses use them to do surveys to grow their business. So they must just call over and over so they can say they made so many calls,so they scam the businesses and harass us,with their repeated calls! That's all I have been able to find,so far. My next step will be to contact a lawyer friend to track them down. The information is all that I could find free on the internet and may not be correct but if it helps us find out how to stop the annoying calls that would be great.

They call all the time and it is annoying. They want me to answer survey questions.

wanted someone in my household to participate in a survey

Robodialing from 321-608-0079 usually strikes during
early evening hours.
Wouldn't it be nice if the big profitable phone company
could use all its advanced computer technology to let
us bill-payers block calls to our phones from phone
numbers which we identify and can update by ourselves?
We bill-payers have a right to not be pestered by the
business incompetents who waste our daily lives!

This number called twice. Didn't say anything the first time so we hung up. The second time this is what happened:

Member of my household: Hello?
Caller: May I speak with the youngest adult in your household please?
Member of my household: There are no young adults here.
Caller: I am speaking with an adult right?
Member of my household: I believe you are speaking to whomever you want to be speaking to.
Caller: Sir, I am speaking English.
Member of my household: Yes, you are
Caller: I am
Member of my household: That's niiiice.
Caller: Uh...ok....um...bye"

And THATS how you get them to stop calling! Lol

This number looked familiar, but had nothing but a hang up. I have Block It on my cell, so I hope that it takes care of it. How annoying. Thank you to the others for sharing your experience here so i could have a vague idea of why they called, and why they hang up. How rude.

I used to live in Melb FL so I answered because that is what comes up on the caller ID.  No one said anything.

They've called a bunch of times, so I finally answered it to ask them to stop calling (hey, it works sometimes!)  It sounded like a really bad connection and it disconnected after a few seconds.  I never heard a person talk though.

Just called, they barely spoke legible english...couldn't understand any word except for "sports" and "study". I told them it was a waste of time and said goodbye. SPAM.

No one spoke after I answered. Wish I could block numbers on my land line.

I LOOOOOOVE the product. use it daily. Such a time, space, money saver you wouldn't believe!
