My girlfriend just told me was receiving a bunch of calls from that number today and yesterday. She hasn't answered them and she has said nothing has come out of her account yet. Hopefully nothing comes out of this but I will keep you updated.

Its a call regarding debts.  Companies monitor credit reports and scores, and they call and hassle you trying to get you to sign up with them and they will help lower your debt, etcetera.  Beware of these folks.  All they really want is to collect money from you while saying they will negotiate with your creditors to lower your payback amount, all the time you're still being reported as a bad credit risk, you will start getting calls/letters from attorney offices trying to collect on behalf of the creditors.  Its a lot of hassle and rip-off.

Got a call from this number, woman said her name was Brenda of Space Codes, wanting to check if my magazine subscriptions were coming through OK. Then she proceeds to ask my D/O/B, which I declined. She was very persistent, and even offered to connect me to another department when I asked to be put through to her manager - but in order to do that, she said that she needed to verify my D/O/B. I even asked which magazines I was receiving through, as I would be cancelling them - but she said she didn't know. I answered how could she verify my magazines, if she didn't know which ones I was meant to be receiving? Very annoying - she eventually hung.

Received a call from this number today saying they would take $10 a month off my account.  She said I had twelve months left at $49.95 a month.  I asked her to send me a copy of any agreed upon paperwork by me that they had on file.  She claimed it was a verbal agreement over the phone.  I told her I only order my magazines through Publisher's Clearing House because I only pay around $10-$15 a year for them.  I also only pay by check, not credit card.  They did not have my correct address and she refused to send any paperwork to the address they had which is my sister's address now.  She claimed the magazines were going out to my old address of which they are not.  I told her that if she charged my account for anything I would sue her.  I hung up!

I got a call about a magazine subscription that I do not have and never have had. She said she couldn't tell me the magazine she is just in billing. That they are getting payments but just want to check that I am getting my magazines on time. I have gotten 20+ calls like this over the last few months, all the same patter, all from different numbers and all different people.
I do answer my phone when I am available and on 3 instances they have hung up on me when I have tried to get them to stop calling me.

I've been getting calls from this number and a few different ones as well.  Some are restricted numbers.  I accidentally answered one of the calls and it was a telemarketing on magazines that they said it was sent to me as a promotion for being a preferred credit card holder.  All they need is my zipcode.  I declined and hung up.  Since then, I've been getting calls from this number and a few other numbers.

Same crap as above.  Started filing coomplaints with the FCC on each number that a call is recieved from.  What I find I find annoying is, despite how well I protect my cell number (and have no land lines) these scammers manage to call and ask for me by correct name - though they never get the address right.

I have gotten calls (not only from this number but from 10 others) Regarding the "magazine subscription" bull sh**. A couple of months ago, i agreed to get magazines for a gas card, "FOR FREE". They said they had my card number and worked closely with my bank so I beleived them, all I had to say over the phone is that I agree. I never gave out any personal info. Eventualy they charged my credit card, a total of over $400 in many different charges on different dates. I received credits from my bank, but continue to get phone calls asking if my magazines are coming in ok. I've tried everything over the phone to find out who they are, even by being nice and getting any info I can. Every time they suspect that I am digging deeper to find out about them, they hang up automatically. I dont know how these people sleep at night. I am so flustered with the entire thing, that when they call now, I dont even try to find out who they are. I just start bashing them for doing what they do for a living.

Just received a phone call. Spoke to a customer service agent who asked me some questions, I asked to speak to a supervisor. A supervisor called me back. They wanted to verify information. I told them I pay by check and don't use credit cards. They said they bought the subscription that I requested 4 months ago and that they were offering me a credit because they haven't been sending me these magazines for months. I never ordered anything! The supervisor wound up hanging up on me after I demanded to talk to someone that could cancel, he said that I can expect to see a bill in the mail and hung up.

So I got a toll free number off of another site to call them back since the number rings busy when you call. They are a company called Treasure Coast the toll free is 866-608-9254. Turns out my name was generated was on some lead list, and they never had an account with me in the first place. Ridiculous! Double check by calling this toll free. Spoke to a nice person there. Very aggravating, though.

This number, for me, was for Treasure Coast Readers.  After a long ordeal of them calling about my magazine subscriptions and my response that I had made no such deals with them, I finally contacted the Florida Attorney General, which ultimately ended things.

This is a scam affecting many people.  It needs to stop.  I would urge others to report this company to the Florida Attorney General as well:  http://www.myfloridalegal.com/    The more complaints filed against this company, the better odds other people have to fight them.
