Been receiving phone calls for last two weeks.  Caller always has a thick accent from India.  Caller claims that my wife's loan application has been approved.  When asked who his employer is, he says there is no company, and that he is from the Auto Loan Network.   We had the call traced through our local phone company.  We contacted local law enforcement, who agrees that this is an identity theft scam.   Do NOT give the caller ANY information, and contact your local law enforcement.Reply !

I just called my Cell Phone Carrier and they blocked the number from ever calling me again.

I received a call from these guys, probably for the 10th time on the same day. I was really anoyed and asked him to remove my number from the system and stop calling me. This guy immdiately became rude and started yelling at me. He also threatened me that he has my SSN# and all the inforamtion about me and he is capable of leaking these info on the public sites.

This is getting out of control. In US is there any system that would protect us from these guys.
