Greg Allen so he said he is chief of police is calling my job embarrassing me stating that "i will get fired in 20 minutes" and get arrested once my human resources called him back Mr. Allen happened not to be a chief of police and was rude and hung up the phone.

I had the same thing happen today. Is there anything to prevent them from calling your work and home? It is very embarassing.

Officer Gary Allen, who has a very very thick middle eastern accent, called me from this number and said I was going to be thrown in jail if I did not call him back immediately. Complete hoax, there was a 60 min special on these jokers and how they try and scam you out of money to "pay to keep you out of jail". It is a scam, they will ask you to pay them by putting the money on a prepaid visa card. DO NOT FALL FOR THESE WORTHLESS PEOPLE'S SCAM!!

Yes I just got a call from this number on my cell and at work. I called them back and told them if they called me on my work or cell I would put the jail on top of them and then I told him I had given this information to my attorney and I called and called them over and over and told them this is what it feel like when u idiots keep calling people. I told them to get a real job before they all burn in hell for trying to beat honest hardworking people out of their money. Of course they thought I was crazy and hung the phone up. When they call just start talking crazy.

Same guy called me at work and cell saying I was going to be arrested if I did not pay some false loan. They even had another number that was acting like the loan company 209-349 3975. They were first impersonating the LA Sheriffs.. I called the actual LA Sheriffs and they said they were aware and so was the FBI. The number is now disconnected as I called and told them I was sending the cops to them. They will just pop up with another number.. Please be careful people!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a call from this number and after reading your forum I realize that this is a scam and I am
not going to call them back. The stated that there was an arrest warrant for my social security number.
I figured it was a scam and it turns out I was correct.

Charles West is calling my husbands work this morning and he kept on and on and now my husband is
on probation for collectors calling his work when it isnt allowed.
I AM so pissed off the t johnson guy has been calling me for over 2 years.

These idiots just called my work and told a co worker if I didnt return the call I would go to jail...COMPLETE and Utter bullcrap! OMG!! They need to be shot..then I would GLADLY go to jail!! Total SCAMMERS!!

These people have been harassing me since January 2013. They have been calling my job and my cell as well, saying that I am going to do 7 months in jail, if I don't pay them a $200 fine with a card called, Money Gram, which I have to purchase at any retail store, like Walgreens or CVS, or if I don't respond to any of their calls "at the other end," which to me is mars, lol. First of all, you can't even understand what he was saying. This guy sound like he was from India or some other country and then on top of that his name is John Adams. This guy don't even speak proper English. How his name is under an American White man's name? Beware of these people, THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND  THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY! Also, they know my social and hacked my computer. That explains why "John Adams" asked me if I receive any mail from them.SO BEWARE!!! How can I bring these no life scammers down? They keep harassing me until this day!

His name is John Adams and supposedly he was calling from the sheriffs office in Los Angelos, California. Let me remind you, this guy don't even speak proper English and yet his name is under an White American's name. Also, they hacked my computer in the end of January 2013. That explains why "John Adams" asked me, if I receive any mail from them about the $200 fine and I never receive any mail from them until I logged onto my computer. Meaning they hacked into my computer to make it seem like I was doing something illegal on my computer, saying that I need to pay a $200 fine with a card called, Money Gram, which I have to purchase at any retail store, like Walgreens or CVS, due to downloading music, pornography, and etc, but I never download music nor anything else like that. I had no idea what this letter on my screen was talking about! I had no access to my computer what so ever, but from the moment I had to pay a fine through Money Gram, I already knew it was a scam. They just wanted my money for no reason. Although, I never took care of the situation because I didn't think it was that serious until March 19th, 2013, I decided to log onto my computer to see, if my computer was still working and I don't know how... But my computer started working normally again and it didn't show the sign on my screen about owing a $200 fine no more, but as soon as logged onto my desktop, I started updating my computer and cleaning out all the viruses that this person, "John Adams" did to my computer. At 11:39 a.m. on March 19th, 2013, I received a call from a 911 number and I didn't pick up because I was sleeping, but I noticed I had a voice mail and I listened to it. It was the same guy, claiming his name is John Adams, saying I'm going to do 7 months in jail, if I don't respond to their calls. He left me this number 323-247-9718, saying that if I don't call that number, they will arrest me right now! To be honest, I panicked at first, but then I realized that as soon as I fixed the viruses and updates on my computer, that's when this guy started harassing me. On top of that, this guy knows my social security number and I don't know how, but who ever this person is, needs to get arrested as soon as possible because he is really trying to ruin peoples lives just for money and trying to take peoples identity.

This foreign Indian or Arab Guy called and now i am making a Police report on this matter, he used vowel language and that if you can understand this idiot. and he used the company of USA or US bank...not sure what he said ...all i know is that i told him not to call....REPORT and or i will go to the NEWS>

When I told him I was returning a call from this number, he said he was calling me because my loan was approved for $5000 and asked me if I wanted the loan.  I suspected a scam, but I played along.  I said yes I want the loan.  He then proceeded to ask me questions about my personal business.  I told him that if he had a loan application on file, then he would already have the information he was asking me.  He said that he just needed to verify the information he already had.  I then said that I was not interested in discussing those details.  He then cussed and used very foul language and hung up the phone.  An hour later, a female called me from the same number. She proceeded to run through the same line about me being approved for a $5000 loan, but this time I cut her off and called her foul names, and told her I was doing to her what her partner had done to me.  After that, I hung up on her.  They called me back several times and I never answered again.

I received a call today that was a man informing me that they were calling from the FBI and needed to speak with (my name). When I said, this is her, he read my social security number and my banking account number. He then stated that there is a federal warrant that was issued for my arrest and that I am guilty of theft by internet, banking fraud and internet fraud in the amount of 1600.00.and they wanted my financial information from the other accounts that I have so that they can collect what is owed or i will be found and arrested. I asked for his address, phone number, name and to speak with someone different in his department. Then another person came to the line and stated the exact same thing. After I asked for documentation, he read my home address and stated they would find me. I became very upset. Not only was a victim of identity theft over the past few years, but now I had someone reading me my information that was in a different state. I am very bothered by this. I hung up the phone, and after I calmed down I called the number back and they answered cash advance and when I stated that I was not happy with what was just done to me, the man started talking in a very vulgar manner and then began to cuss at me. I am not happy at all with what happened but if I am able to call the person back....why cant officials trace the number?

I got a call from # 323-247-9718. Look this number up and call these [***]. This is an someone of arab/indian decent. So this person left a voicemail on my phone saying that they needed my bank account information to transfer a loan into my bank account. Obviously a red flag went way up. So I looked up the number online and noticed A TON of fraud complaints from this guy. So I called the number and told him that I would report him...then he called back and said that he was going to use my social security number and purchase "products" from my bank account "[***] [***]". So I called the LAPD twice and got a hold of the fraud agency...and low and behold, there is nothing they can do. It is an "empty threat'. Ok...yeah. This person is actively going around trying to get bank account information from people and this is just a empty threat. What a waste of resources.
