They left a message saying "my legal counsil needs to call them back as soon as the message is received becasue it's very time senitivte. If I choose to disregard the message all I can say is good luck." I received a message like this about a year ago and disregarded it.  This time I received 2 calls from 2 different numbers to I called.  Claimed they are legal counsil and I owe a payday loan which was never paid but they wouldn't give me the name of the company only that they reporesent hundreds of lenders.  I asked how can fix the situation if they don't have any info to give me.  They yelled at me, called me an [***] becuse I kept asking questions, stated they aren't a bill collector.  I then asked what's the purpose of the call then.  They said to inform me they were seeking legal suite and I was going to be arrest in 30 mins at work and hund up on me.  They called me back 20minutes later, i did not pick up and they did not leave a message.  Went online did some research and found this was a total scam. One of the numbers they called me from a week ago isn't active anymore.

This guy with a very heavy Indian accent, who claims to be "John McClain", said the exact same thing as the previous post. The [***] even had the balls to call me a "criminal", not knowing who I am, who I work for, or what I do for a living. This is a total scam. don't believe it when the call you.

This person name "Perry Black" keeps calling my phone stating that they need my attorney's information; something in regards to a criminal lawsuit.  When I clearly told him to stop calling my phone he cursed me out and told me that he will have my a$$ behind bars.

I received the same calls....from two different numbers,  same person.  Yesterday I received 15 calls and today so far I have received 9 calls.  Not sure what to do about it right now but just keep ignoring it

I keep getting calls from Perry Black from 212-933-9821. I tell him SLOW down with your accent we Americans can not understand you. This is a complete scam.  He says I have a payday loan I didn't pay.   I asked him repeatedly who is the creditor and same story, represents a bunch, doesn't know.  But he said option 1 to pay in full or option 2 Superior Court of NY.   I told him prove who the creditor is and we will review together.   He hangs up and calls my work right back.  It is scary that these scum bags have info.

I received a call today from this supposed Perry Black with Henderson Law Firm stating that I have an unpaid payday loan and I have until tomorrow to pay $761 or else he is gonna have me arrested on Thursday. I started to ask him questions about this supposed loan and he got very defensive and said thats all the info he could give me and hung up. I told my boyfriend about it and he called Perry back and Perry said he cant discuss this with him and now since I had my boyfriend call hes not gonna accept my payment and will send the cops to my work on Thursday. Luckily my boyfriend found this website and all realized its a freaking scam. So thankful to see all your other posts about this because I was freaking out. This guy is an ass!

Lthese guys called me and did the same thing. Said I owed 594and next time called and said 696. Heavy heavy Indian accents. I asked to be transfered to someone I can understand and they pressed 3 buttons to act like they transfered but I heard a bunch of Indian people talkin in backround. Also heard laughing and joking in backround at times. Looked up number and everything is unknown except city amd state. No buisness namm no person name. Obvious scam I tried to get info from them and see how to fix it and they said pay by debit card. Personal check or directly from bank. So I laughed and hung up and never called back. One of my family members actually put a police report in for me ...and have u ever heard people with these accents with normal American names. Lol

this happened 2 me today. they called me and told me i took out a payday loan and never paid it back they want to go far as having me arrested over bogus claim. what can be done about this please help me. they want to my law enforcement agency and seek bogus charges

Same thing.... So scary that these people can call and threaten you and no one does anything about it! I am getting threatning messages at work!

Received a call on my cell (which I seldom give out this number) asking for a reference check on family member.  I asked if it was for a job interview.  They said no so I refused to answer any questions. They threatened to arrest me and hung up.  Accent made it difficult to understand the male caller.
