- JBGlad I looked online at this. Got a call from David Schultz about litigation and summons for a debt or fraud that I have. Glad to know its a scam!
- Call type: Debt collector
- Rhiannon| 2 repliesTotal scam don't reply to these type of calls.I work in the field of debt collection and we are NOT allowed by law (FDCPA) to speak to consumers the way it has been described above. These people must be [***] to contact consumers with that type of silliness.I just found the same type of comments on this site about a different two bit scammer who called my sister.Glad this site gets the word out to all.Be safe.
- Michelle replies to Being careful| 1 replyi got the same call 3 times telling me that they were going to suspended all my licences until see a judge. i called back got someone else and was told that i owe a debt from 10 plus years ago and that they can sue me and that they have presidence over the law and that they have looked at my assets and that i can afford to pay. and that a divorce and ex filing bk has nothing over them and that i get nothing in writing from them
- OMG ROFLMFAO replies to MichelleWere you talking to a debt collector or a clown ???? None of that is legally possible hun and the person who said all that is a clown.Next time they call tell them a spaceship just landed and Jesus got off of it and he planted you a money tree and as soon as it harvests you will not only pay them but cure cancer, diabetes and HIV. That sounds on par with the fuckery this fool was talking.
- michelle replies to Rhiannon| 1 replyyeah i recorded the message on my phone and the same guy david schultz told me that all my licences will be suspended and that im in litigation and that i have 24 hrs to call and that they will hold it until i see a judge.. https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-323-300-5792 - M| 1 replyPlease beware. They called me said they were Litigation Services collecting for Citibank Mastercard. Number was 323-300-5792 ext 223, man's name was Steve Cash. Gave me a Mastercard number said I owed $15K. Said I had to pay at least a third of it by tomorrow before it went to court. Had all my info, address, phone and SOCIAL!!!!! What the heck?!?! I don't have anything EVER from Citibank on my credit report. I called them and they said the account number Steve Cash gave me doesn't exist and never did!!!! I'm terrified of what they are going to do next. Have to report it with the district attorney in the morning and have added a fraud tag to my credit report and set it to notify me of any activity. Any other suggestions of how to better protect myself from what they might do?
Thanks.- Caller: Litigation Services

- alex| 1 replyGot a call from a Jay Walker who was threatening to take me to court. Said his client needed an answer today (first point of contact was yesterday??) He then proceeded to call 4 times in an hour 2 legit where he left voicemails and 2 butt dials.
- The Eagle replies to alexAlex he sounds desperate. First sign of a fake/fraudulent debt collector.
- peggy bernier| 1 replyGot a call from 323-300-5792 ext 224 Jodi Simmons (direct line 626-671-8354) trying to get ahold of my mom. (first they were talking to me without my mothers permission) telling me that she owes $29,000 . She said that there are allegations against her, she said Death by Deception, Defrauding a financial institution. Of coarse I was freaked out and so is she. Jodi even gave me the last four numbers of my moms c c # she sounded really convincing, they wanted to know how much she makes and her bills so that she can try and work with us on a lump sum or payment plan. I did not give her much info and have not given her any numbers at all. She said that the paperwork was on the lawyers desk and that they were getting ready to send them to the clerk of courts and swear out an arrest warrant on my mom. I am supposed to call her back tomorrow and she said that she would be able to cut off $19,000 (interest alone) off the balance but she would still be liable to pay the rest. I am soo glad that my husband told me to look up the number and glad people are writing about their calls too. she also said that the c c# was from Washington mutual from 2008

- Carlos Weekes replies to peggy bernierPeggy, glad you were not scammed. You should be aware that even IF your mom owed money on a credit card it would never be a crime as long as she was using her own card. Also,a debt from 2008 even one she truly made is too old for anyone to take your mom to a civil (non-criminal)court. The person who called you is a thief and a lowlife no better than one who would climb through your window and steal your wedding ring to buy drugs.I urge you to contact your local as well as federal authorities as these numbers are traceable.
- Jerry| 1 replygot a voice mail from "Tony Fernandez" saying that I was being sued and needed to call before they located me to settle, that it if they located me first it would be too late. He even called my ex-wife (from 22 years ago!) sounded fishy so I looked them up, glad I did!

- Bob replies to JerryTony Fernandez? These lowlifes are using the names of retired baseball players to scam you out of your money. I wonder who will get a call from Derek Jeter.
- KimI dealt with this place and probably spoke to all of them while I tried to figure out where they were as the address they give is phony according to building management in LA. I spoke with Ann Washington and a Karen Greer and a man named David. I believe there are only three people there as the other extensions never answer. I would say this is a scam. To this day over a month later people are still reporting to me that they are receiving calls for me about debts. I believe they have changed numbers and this one is no longer the one they are calling from as the number that is calling for me now is different.I have made a new post on that number as well.

- Mike| 1 replyThey called me twice. They called my wife, my mom, my dad and two of my brothers today. They are a total scam. They say they are working with the county court. I know better then to pay attention to these people. they are really good at scaring you and I hope someone doesn't fall into their trap. They are not listed on my credit report so they won't receive a penny from me.

- Samuel replies to MikeThey aren't listed on your credit report but they may have stolen it. You should report this number to the authorities this sounds like an ID/credit card fraud ring .
- Litigation Services is FAKE !!!On at least one occasion, BBB sent mail to this company in an attempt to develop a report. The mail was returned by the Post Office; therefore a complete BBB report at this time is unavailable.
If you have information that would assist your BBB in developing a report, please speak with a BBB service advisor.
