Just got a call from this number. Don't know who it is and no mssg. was left.

Me too.  I received a call from this number today and they left no message.  Hmmm...

This is a company called Convergent Outsourcing. They are a collections company. They are based somewhere in Texas but now they have local area codes to call from.

You are absolutely correct.  The debt collector is Convergent Outsourcing, Inc.
(They actually answer the phone with the company  name).  They are located at
10750 Hammerly Blvd in Houston, TX but they purchase local phone cards in order to look ligitimate.  These folks are not the original debt collector, but they bought the papers to your debt trying to collect (often at 2-20%) on the dollar to get their money back from the paper they purchased about you.  Hope this helps.

I get calls from this place every other day. It's harassing and annoying. No message, no name and etc....If it were legit I would think they would at least leave a number or name to call back.

I've gotten several calls from this company. Luckily I have google voice and when I apply for anything in the public domain including credit cards I put my google voice number down. Google voice has a blocking feature so u can block whatever number u want - problem solved! Highly recommend getting a google voice number and using that!

I'm getting calls from this number, but there is never a message. I don't know who this is and I don't know why I'm getting these annoying calls.

They say they have a personal business matter but refuse to give deatils.

"Purported IRS Officer- Julie Smith called on an automated message that said “extremely time sensitive”...last week from : 202-241-8224 (Washington DC) ; Today on 10-14-14, 2 calls came in from "Julie Smith" @ 323-331-9709 & 323-331-9711 looking for someone else we know. She asked us to go get them or press a # if we know them. Since we screen our calls we just ignored the message. In my research, this company may purport to be a collections agency, but they are really PHISHING SCAMMERS who want to confirm YOUR PHONE NUMBER! 323 #’s and many 202 #’s are associated with her name as well.

This person always calls looking for a ricardo quinola they never come on so I can let them know that they have A WRONG NUMBER, THEY CALL EVERY DAY AT 10AM IM GETTING SICK OF IT

Just got a call from this number however most of these calls are computer generated calls..left no message......if a person answers they know its a good number and will call with another phone # (phiishing). I understand that these calls are being made by a third party service for various  busnesses as well.  I will get calls and when I research the phone # some will post as debt collectors and others as building contractors and even asking for money donations for various charities...which are scammers making money off vulnerable people..all with the same phone #....I never buy anything from door to door solictations or the phone...
