- RedCaller ID say "CALIFORNIA" Left no message.
- winkspopI get a call at least once a day. ID says it's a California number. I have my answering machine on all day. If a message isn't left I have no idea who is calling.
- Anon. They have called many times, they always leave a message but it's just a high pitched beep. The Caller ID for me says "V07081642220578"
What is this?- Caller: 323-474-0366
- Tired of TelemarketersI called the number displayed. They claim to be the National Diabetes Foundation. I checked other forums and this seems to be a scam site (wants you to provide your SSN). Does anyone actually fall for these types of solicitations?
Curious note: On the bottom of this page, "whocallsme" says the country of origin for this call is Belgium but the prefix is California. Is this a cellphone from the USA being used offshore to avoid prosecution? Maybe it's just a mistake by "whocallsme", but I wonder...- Caller: "California"
- frustratedIsn't this call a violation of HIPPA laws to call up and ask if anyone is a diabetic? Not to mention the Caller ID showed a CA number, but the internet says belgium and a wireless phone as the type of phone calling.
- Caller: national diabetes foundation
- Call type: Telemarketer
- registeredfornocalls| 1 replyAsk for some strange name, then asked if I was the lady in the house. I said who are you looking for, He says do you have a diabetic in your house, I SAID NOOOOO and hung up.
- a sthey said it was diabetes but it was very shady call asking many questions
- amycaller id said californai call... then a machine came on saying " you are the only one on this conference call" wtf? so i hung up
- frustratedI answered a call from this number yesterday knowing that it was probably a scam. They asked for my wife by her full name, which she never uses. The person then asked if anyone in the house has diabetes. When I said no, they hung up.
- lumkini received a call from this number @ 3:59 am did not leave a message caller id reads california
- wolfleft no message.
All my research indicates that it is a place trying to steal something - Another CONNever leaves messages. Has called many times before...
This # is a landline based in Irvine, CA serving the Los Angeles area - however, I suspect it is a person being deceitful using VOIP and just using a FAKE number SPOOFING caller ID - google 'spoofing caller ID' for more info on that.
Do not give these people ANY INFORMATION, hang up the phone, do not answer a call from them.- Caller: CALIFORNIA
- Gma LindaI have gotten this number twice now. I called it as well the first time, and it also said
the national diabtes what ever. I knew instantly it was a scam. I am so ticked that
older people may see Los Angelos on their phone and answer it and get reeled in.
I hope no one allows the curiousity that killed the cat to get the better of them. I have
moved from a town of 1900 people to a city, and never have I gone through the crank
calls that I have gotten here. I want to hide my phone and not hear it ring. Sad,so sad.- Caller: Los Angeles CA 323-474-0366
- SarahIt sounds like the call is coming from a bar. A lot of background noise and the woman barely spoke English when she finally asked for my husband, at least 45 seconds before a voice came over the answering machine. They could at least pronouce our name correctly if they are pulling a scam!
- Amy replies to registeredfornocallsI got the same exact thing when I answered. They did not say who they were. They actually asked for me by my first name, though. Certainly must be a scam of some sort.
- DeeWe've gotten calls from this number numerous times. There is never a message and when I try to call back, message is, "call cannot be completed as dialed".
- Caller: ?
- AtlantaJust got a call from this #. I picked up and answered but only received a beep and then a woman's computer voice said goodbye. Strange thing is I had just logged on the internet via VPN connection. I always find it suspicious when I log in and then my phone rings. We're on to you scammers. You'll be prosecuted.
- Caller: California
- Atlanta TooThey just called. She had a very thick Indian accent and it sounded like she was sitting in traffic in the middle of a monsoon. The reception was horrible. I am guessing calling from overseas and using the number to run it through.
She asked for me by name and when I asked who was calling, she said National Diabetes something or other (it broke up). When I told her she had the wrong number, she actually got attitude with me and wanted to verify the number. Then she asked for my name and I told her that frankly, that was none of her business. I told her to remove the number from the database and she hung up on me.
If you call back, it gives a message saying the call cannot be completed as dialed and hangs up.- Caller: National Diabetes
- The Screamerjust picked up the phone and screamed as loud as I could into it. Felt good. Ha!
