Yep.  Just got a call.  Solicitation from some law enforcement union or support group, supposedly.

yes i did just now but they hung up who is it?

They said is this pat, I said yes... they then mumbled something and hung up! I tried calling back.but only got a busy signal

Got a call, didn't answer.  Busy upon call back.

Just got a call from this number and the guy asked for my husband so I said, "WHO IS THIS" and again he repeated my husband's name so I again said, "who is this" and they hung up on me.  I was thinking it was one of those callers that if you answer "yes" they will put charges on your phone that is the latest scam I have heard of.

I was subjected to the scam Esperanza described, and when I required T-Mobile to remove the $43 charge, they sent me around the block and then again. I escalated to two layers of supervisors before they finally agreed to remove the charge, took up a couple of hours of my time to get it handled - and they refused to even tell me the phone number that was the supposed recipient of the call they were trying to exact another $43 for from my account. So yeah, when these unfamiliar phone numbers call in to my line, like this one that happened today, I don't even answer. And I sure don't enroll in anyone's automatic payment plan. T-Mobile shot themselves in the foot with their bungling in this instance.

A man called last night. Said is this, ......, I said yes who is calling and they hung up.  Scam?  Scary.   Calling the police.

did not answer. ... called back on separate line ... "number you have dialed is not in service".   Blocked Number.

I received a call! I didn't answer!! No message!!
SCAM FOR SURE!!

Got call from this for some police donation, told me three tiers of donations ($15, $30, $50). Asked me if can count on me for at least minimum of $15. Told him to send me information so I can read over and I would then consider. Instead of agreeing to that, he told me he will call me at a later time. He hung up. Called and got "number you dialed is not in service."

Shady very shady.

"Police Activities League". Soliciting $$ through deception. (Scam call) reported by First Responder
"Police Activities League". Looking for $$ . Never give up donations to someone who calls representing ANY first responder! No first responder solicit donations via phone/internet/mail.

You better check your identity and look for fraud!!!  NEVER say Yes!! They record your voice and then use it for authorization in opening accounts and making purchases.  Just HANG UP!

Missed call. No message. Read previous entries here so I dialed the number from a land line. Recording states number not-in-service. I blocked the number from calling again.
