Received a voicemail from the LA-based number above. "Hello this is Jeff T(?) from the Department of Legal Affairs..." Who are the Dept of Legal Affairs? He said they were calling on a very important issue. It was supposed to be some kind of notification on the enforcement action that "have (sic) been started on your name." He said that if I was too busy to call I should have a retainer attorney call for me because this could end up in a legal mess for me.
It is obviously a scam similar to one I responded to once before when I returned the "urgent" message. That time, when I balked, the lady on the phone said a police car was on its way to my home as we were talking!

i was told by Thomas that I had an affidavit from the IRS and I was in big trouble and I should get my lawyer to read the papers to me. I told him IRS doesnt contact people by phone like this and he hung up.
