This number calls and asks for me while I am at work. His name is Thomas Cook and he speaks broken english and is really really hard to understand!!! He apparently says that there is a lawsuit for me and I really dont know why they keep harrassing me!

They are doing the same to me. Right now he's claiming to be Eric Watson. A few months ago John Smith. Claims my attorney must get in touch with him or myself - the same signature ending is "bow Jessica, if you don't return the call, all I can tell you is good luck, and have a blessed day."
It's so ridiculous! This started for me back in November of last year. It comes up every few months, the same guy, same voice, same script, same threats. Now he calls my line at work too. Not good. And not a creditor.
Fraud.

I'm having the same annoying issue at my job!  My caller is Wiliam Taylor same broken accent rude and wishing me good luck when this comes falling down on me!!!  Stating I have an unpaid payday loan and there's a lawsuit in my name.

I have a client who got a call from this number and they threatened to jail him if he did not pay them money and that he should have his attorney call.  I did several times, talked to a Kevin Harris, David Jones, Brian Williams, etc.  Different name every time but same broken-English voice.  They said they would fax me the documents but never did.  Now, when I call, they hang up on me.  LOL
Please everyone report these frauds - they need to be stopped.

i keep getting calls from this #. a Pat Harrison or something, saying i have serious allegations upon my social security # and name. they threatened to be at my job as well as have me arrested..who do i contact to get these people to stop calling??

They have called me numerous time as well.  Just tell them you have contacted the FTC and your local attonery general (good idea to call them for real) and remind them by law they can't call you.  Flip it back on them.  I know it can be scary to have someone telling you all this but that is their M.O.  They want to scare you so much that you give up your money.  If it really were true they would serve you papers or at least send you something in the mail.  COMPLETE FRAUD!!!

I just received 2 calls from this number (this time it was a woman!)..the 1st claimed they were with the DEA.  Must be some type of scam!!!
