Phoned at 11:40MT. Didn't leave a message.

This number called my business. When they realized we are a business, they said "I have the wrong number" and hung up. On my caller ID, all that registered was the word "California".

I  got a call on my cell phone from this number but they didn't leave a message.

ask for husband by name. said he wasnt here and ask if I could help. He hung up.

A guy calls my home asks for Robert ( I have had my number for 20 years no one in my family by that name)   I say no one here by that name went to ask and CLICK   grrrrr I hate that!

Asked for me by name, told me they were Vehicle Insurance Agency or something like that, had my name and number, that's about it. Asked me my car/make year and mileage, after which he put me on the phone with an "Information Verification Agent" who was some woman who just regurgitated what I had just told "Johnny". She told me because of the nature of these things, they have to be cautious about who they give insurance to. She asked if I had a check engine light, I told her yes, it came on today, and she said "Well, you don't qualify" and hung up.

That's the quickest way to get rid of them, be  liable person that would actually cost them money, they'll leave you alone.

They called me, I answered and 5 seconds later they hung up.

Called I answered and no one talked back, ANNOYING!

tried calling them back but the numbers out of service... seems weird 2 me!!

What scam artists, i do student loan collections and this person couldn't get past the written script in front of him, what i don't understand is that we are regulated yet these morons get away with it even after we tell them to DNC.   I would love to know how to report them!  Because we are federally regulated to not put the client at risk when attempting to help recover a bad loan.  Jerk faces

Called me on my cell phone, but I was on the other line.  When I called them back to find out who called me, it said number disconnected.  Really annoying.

This number keeps calling and when I call back it gives me a message saying this number is disconnected what is the deal?

These telemarketers are using computer controlled autodialers that call anyone and everyone without regard to Federal or States DNC list.  If you are on the DNC list, they dial your number anyway, then the call is disconnected about 5 seconds after you answer.  Their goal appears to be just to waste your time and move on to the next call where they hope to sell someone a worthless used car warranty.

If you do get to talk to a human being, NEVER say "Yes" to any of their questions!  Their latest trick is to ask a mundane question like "Do you make the financial decisions in your house?"  You are being recorded as you say "Yes."  Then, they play the "Yes." response back after asking for permission to access your checking account for a one time charge of $$$.  They have burnt my +85 year old father-in-law this way three times over the last five months.

They called, then about 8 seconds later I hear a machine saying "good bye" and then they hung up.
