An unwanted call from this invalid (spoofed) Los Angeles area number arrived today.  When the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message, just dead space.  Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.  They spoof their numbers to cover their tracks while attempting to rip you off.

According to several posters, the caller asks, "Can you hear me?"  DON'T ANSWER!  The caller is making a recording of your voice to use in scams to place orders for merchandise using your "Yes" answer as consent for the charges.  DON'T LET THESE SCAMMERS FOOL YOU!

Another unwanted call from this invalid (spoofed) Los Angeles area number arrived today, just 2 weeks since the last unwanted call on March 14.  One again, when the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message, just dead space.  Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.

A salesperson obviously in a bullpen from the background noise trying to get me to reduce my energy bill.  She tried to imply she was with SCE but admitted when pressed that she was with "Energy Solutions".  She hung up when I refused to tell her anything about my electric bill.

Just received a call from this number. I SURE WISH THE DoNotCall list actually worked!
THESE CALLERS MUST BE STOPPED!
