I just got text messages from this Donna Gill asking me to email her(?) at donnagill06@gmail.com for merchandise I'm selling.  I thought it might be a scam but the previous complaint confirms it.  Thanks.

I got same call from "Donna" about what im selling glad we are smart enough to check.

I got a text from this number, said his name was Dennis Welton and he was hearing impaired. He wanted my email address so he could talk to me about merchandise i had for sale on Craigslist, i get these kind of scams all the time, they are always California area code numbers

I just received an txt message from a Cherry Louis about something I was selling and said they were hearing impaired too to email her about making arrangements for payment. After she said she needed my home address to send payment to and wanted info for her "shipping agent" I told her that sounded wierd and decided not to reply back to any other emails... sounds fishy to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a call from this number the guys name was dennis welton he wanted to buy my stove I had listed on craigs list .  he sent me two us postal money orders both for 975.00 each I am sure he wanted for me to send driver the rest of the money before he I got them cashed.  I told him he did not get the stove until checks cleared and I had money in hand so he told me to forget it he was going to cancel the checks at his bank. I am getting in touch with the police dept and reporting it

Got a message like y'all in regards to payment and shipment for my dog, but from a Christopher Walker. Numbers also used were 6123546801, 3239291051, and 9139123972. Shipping agents that were named was a

Also had phone contact from the 9139123972 number, which sounded like an african american man, and a call from a 225-5555 number which sounded like either a chinese or korean man. I checked my phone records with my phone company and saw that it was a forwarded call from a local number which was 8085519626.

He is getting information from ebay classifieds.

These people are very crooked individuals, and it's not just one person, it's a series of people working together to do these scams. I contact the FBI and my local police department about this.

Anyone who receives a money order as payment I would suggest they go to the post office to have them verified.

                                I got the same call at 6:30 am from ChristopherWalker533@gmail.com  using phone # 3239291051. Asking to buy my bedroom set and he has a shipping agent who traveling and he can't reach at this time. He stated that he would send a check for the purchase but i would need to pay his agent the difference.  But i called this number no answer left a message. He emailed me right back saying now sending a money order. I said no only western union as i thought no response. Somebody find this thug

I too got a message from this number from Christopher Walker, then when that did not pan out, got another message from the same number only the contact was Donald Lee, about an item I had listed on Craigs List.  Same events as previously listed here.  FedEx delivered the check, but driver came back to retreive it.  It is currently being investigated by FedEx.  They have hundreds of reports of scam.

I was selling an electronic hospital bed that we got for my father who used the bed for five days before he passed away, so I listed it for sale. I received an email from "Christopher Walker" saying he wanted to buy the bed. He'd only communicate by text or email telling me he was hearing impaired. I couldn't understand why he wouldn't simply buy a bed in GA (where he claimed he lived) instead of buying a bed from PA then paying a "shipping agent" to pick it up & take it to him?
He did send me a Certified Check via USPS priority mail over night. I confirmed with my bank that the check was "good" (it was real), but it was drawn on a STOLEN ACCOUNT. I too called him & a man of asian decent answered when I asked to speak to "Christopher Walker"- he seemed shocked when I was asking him about being hearing impaired. I contacted the Police, FBI, USPS, Western Union, & Wells Fargo (where the check came from); I wish I had confidence this thief would be stopped .

I learned that he has been doing this for at least 3 years, & he lives in California. He is apparently part of a network of scum bags who prefer to steal from those who work for a living. The names of the so called "shipping agents" he wanted me to deal with were:

I received a message from a Craigs list ad from Donald Lee who wants to send me money orders.  He is a fake, fake fake.  

I got a phone call from Dennis Welton said he was from Pennsylvania. I had a Schwinn Scooter for sale, he said he would send a cashier check for the scooter. Wanted my home address, said I could take the cashier bank and cash it, he would send his shipping company to my house and pick up the scooter. My husband and I didn't think it sounded right, so we started google his name. And found Dennis Welton name involved in scam.

I just got a message and said the same name... the number was out of state. Acting like he wanted to buy my craftsman riding lawnmower

I too had  Dennis Welton text me about a car on craig's list. He wanted my address and will mail me a check then have his private moving company pick up the car. He needed it for a missionary trip a space bus whatever that means . He said his shipper can sign on his behalf. Gut feeling that this is not right, but went for it. Now I kick myself.

Thank you guys for these posts he contacted me about my car as well and told me the same exact things. I didn't go through with it.

Dennis Welton is waiting for me to cash a $1550 "cashier check" for a $400 item I have for sale online. The check is from American Savings out of Hawaii. I am suppose to cash it and send the rest to Shawn Casper in Richland, WA.
He is using 267-486-6965 to text me. Thinking about calling the FBI but apparently they have not done anything about it.
