Appears to be a scam trying to tell you that if you are using windows OS on your computer your computer is sending out errors. He claims he can fix while you're on the phone. Probably wants to get into your folders to access private information. DO NOT ALLOW access to your computer from any outside source unless you know them to be legit.
I told him I had 2 OS  on my computer and I would quit using windows and use ubuntu instead. Then he said both computers will be infected if he doesn't fix them. I told him I have but one computer. Well only one on line all the time. I told him if the problem continues I'll reformat my hard disk. Didn't seem to have an answer and hung up. I'll block this number on my ooma account suggest you do the same.

They have called multiple times a day. Yesterday, I spoke with one of the "agents" from "windows"as he claimed, and had me log into a site "Aammy.com" which was a remote site that he was going to be able to "fix the errors on my computer". I saw a warning sign from Aammy stating this was a scam to get access to the hard drive. This past week I was victim of identity theft, and now that I have changed card numbers, they are calling constantly. Tonight I answered and spoke to "Ashley" I informed her that I would like her name and number to call her back as the police are involved. She continued to say I had errors on my computer and I stated firmly, that I wanted to speak to a supervisior or manager. She would not honor my request, and got nasty and hung up. I am awaiting the next call.

If your tired of this bozo, try this, first remember his number, second tell this idoit that you have reached the help desk for microsoft computers center and then ask him what you can help him with, he won't call again for a long time, the easiest person to con is a con.

    Computer scam Alert

I just received a call from a 325-625-4189 phone number the person introduced herself as Alice with Windows Service Center marketing team she sounded as if she had a Middle East accent.  She said they researched my computer ID and found it has a problem which she could fix right away over the phone just turn on my computer.  I told her I have no problem with my computer, I never contacted Windows servicing center and I think she was a fraud and if she wasn't give me the phone number to Microsoft Windows so I can call them about this.  She hung up.  I looked on the internet and on Microsoft and this appears to be a scam to get into your hard drive. I am reporting this to the FTC and sending an email blast to everyone I know.  Microsoft doesn't call people telling them they did a research on your computer and a problem I don't know about.  All they wanted was whatever info including banking they could get. Beware don't trust everyone who calls.

Started getting calls this week. ID says "TEXAS".  I finally answered just now. Guy sounded like he was from India.  Told me he was calling from MicroSoft and that I had a problem with my computer. I told him I had no problems and not to call again.  He then quickly proceeded to tell me I did have serious PC issues and I asked him how he knew I had a PC? He said off the report he had that told him everything about my PC.  I told him I have a iMac and hung up.

I received a call this morning at 9:10am from a gal who clearly wasn't a native to the USA and she started in her little speech on how she is from Windows Service Center and my computer is sending malicious information.  I had a difficult time understanding her and hung up.  At 1:56pm I again received a call from this number, this time it was from a man reading off the same script saying he was from Windows Service Center and my computer was sending malicious information.  I had a difficult time understanding him as well and when I told him about the call I received this morning he told me that nobody had called me.  I set the phone down and walked away, ran a scan on my computer and then returned to the phone and hung up.  He had hung up by then anyway.  When I looked at my phone I saw that I received a call from this number yesterday at 4:00pm.  Who ever these people are they are aggressively seeking to find someone who will let them have access to their computer and be a victim of their crime.  Block this number from your phone and be sure to tell your parents to do the same!

I am getting many calls from various area codes or unknown caller. This is so frustrating since they try to say its a problem with my windows program. When will there be a law that you cannot get a USA phone # when you are calling from out of the USA.

These frauds keep calling (for a couple of months now) saying they are from Microsoft and that our computer has been reporting serious errors or that our "Microsoft license" has expired.  They try to get you to let them install a remote access program on your computer so they can get into it and do whatever they want.  All this is patently untrue.  They are so rude as to actually YELL at me about their "rights" to call and threaten that my computer is going to stop working.  The best thing you can do is tell them that you only have Macs and no PC's and/or just hang up on them.  Whatever you do, DO NOT let them talk you into installing anything on your computer.

I have recieved several calls from a private unknown name, unknown number and i was finally home when they called my house at 9:30 PM. Woman with a middle eastern accent asked me if i was mrs. (my husbands first and last name) and i said no why whos calling "microsoft did you know your computer has been corrupted and it is sending us malicious somethingor rather" got very upset when i interrupted her to say i don't even have a computer (a lie but my previous laptop did die due to a CPU problem about a week ago) and she just got angry and said THAT IS A BIG LIE and i was honestly so startled i just hung up! but im am ANXIOUSLY awaiting their next call. What a sham. I can't believe they went so far as to look up whose name our telephone is registered under. I guess it's supposed to make it seem more legit. We don't have anything registered with Windows so this is definitely a scam.
