I received a call.... I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. When I tried to look up the number, I found it to be an unlisted land line in MANTUA, OHIO and they didn't live a message.....so I blocked my number and called them back...got a machine which stated they were American Future Fund  polling line.

I got a call and essentially told them I was a Mormon voting for Obama

If you're voting for Obama, you've got a lot more problems than getting spam phone calls.

know the #  That is the safe way to fix these nuts that call.  The call was from  Mantua Ohio

I like to when I have the time to just pick up these calls  I answer opposite of what they want.

If they don't have free longdistance or free minutes it burns them up and atleast when I am doing this they are not bothering someone else.

It's like putting the mail that you don't want back in the envelope it came in so they pay the return mailing.

Unfortunately you can only block so many numbers!

The do not call list is a joke it doesn't work and I even get more calls now that I am on it!

Dumb people still trying to get me to pick up my phone and i wont. No message on the answering machine either so no big deal to me, just an annoying bug goes away after so long...... most of the time >XI

got the call today - just for the heck of it - i picked up.  it was a political poll from Amercan Future Fund - a conservative 501 (c).  i answered their questions - i have found that you must listen carefully - as you press 1 this time for democrat and 2 for republican - and next question 1 is republican - 2 is democrat.  keep you guessing.
i told them what i wanted them to know. and they DID not ask how much money we make!!!

CID said Ohio Call. I just let these ring anymore if I don't know who's calling. Probably the same political [***] that called 3 times in an hour the other night. Don't answer.

I got this call before.  Dont know about yall but how in the world are these political/telemarketers gettin my number.  Im on the dont call list and seems even then i still get calls.  If i dont know the number they can leave a message. otherwise screw them.

They have been calling non stop every day at least twice.I have never answered and do not intend to.Who I vote for is none of their business.I have relatives in politics who said it will get worse as the election nears.I asked how to stop them and I was told you are chasing your tail trying,I too would like to know how they got my unpublished number unless they are "dialing for dollars"...

Keep getting this call.  Answered all their questions once already.  Now when I get it, I don't wait for the questions and just keep pushing 1 over and over until the call is finished.

why don't these political calls get fined for calling

This number calls me all the time, and I get a message from a machine about the election....I don't answer calls I don't know,

Answered this call and it was a robo poll.  It asked who I was voting for.  I pressed one for Obama.  Second question was will you definitely vote for Obama or probably vote for Obama.  I pressed one for definitely.  The next question was "How sure are you that will vote for Mitt Romney"  definitely or probably.  I hung up.  This has happened to me one other time. If you are going to answer these calls which I will, be sure that they don't switch the wording on you.  No matter what your political persuasion is, this is dishonest.

Keep getting calls from this number. I have never answered before today. I listened but did not push any buttons. (says to push 1 for Obama, 2 for Romney, ....) I did nothing-then it starts saying push one if you'll definitely vote for Obama, 2 for will vote for Obama, & 3 if unsure. Now you know where the so called polls get their scewed numbers from! These types of calls should NOT be allowed!. Factcheck.org says this is a conservative group doing a survey. I really don't believe that. Last election Factcheck had a bunch of false info on their website stating things in order to sway people toward Obama. Better beware, peeps!

I want to let anyone who has phone service with Charter Communications that you can block up to 12 phone numbers. I just did this number and 7 ohters. I know I will get other calls from other political services but at least none from this one. All I did to find out about blocking numbers was to type into the search engine, "how to block phone numbers with charter phones". Good luck to you all during this election season. lol
