Have got lots of calls from the following number, 330-433-5987, most are Hindus.  Asking for a certain person, when you say there not here, they hang up with out saying another word.  When I call the number back, voice message says Sam's Card Customer service.  But, on the caller ID it says, GE Money?

Not legitimate when they call you on Saturday before 8:30am and then HANG UP ON YOU before even getting to talk to anyone. What some douchenozzles!

Got 2 calls from this number on friday morning but I missed both of them. When I did a google search I found this web page and tried calling the number back. I got an answering machine and it just kept asking me to put in my account number and or ssn and or zip code. I couldn't get past the recording to talk to a representative so I'm pretty sure this is one of those phishing scams trying to get your account information so they can steal your identity. DON'T CALL THEM BACK OR GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

I keep getting the same call! I told them the check was in the mail and they wanted my check number and account number I just hung up on them.

I'm getting these calls from Hindus as well.  Purportedly from "GE Money."  They said I was behind on a credit card payment, which is not true.

Could it have anything to do with the credit information tapes that GE Money lost, as reported in the following article?

(The article says that the tape was lost in October, 1997.)

P.S.  I see on another website that there are some complaints that predate the October 1997 loss by about a month.  So maybe that's unrelated.

This IS Sam's Club Credit, which is provided through GE Money Bank.

I get calls from this number at least 4x daily. Never leave message!! Sam's Club acct is up to date, so there's no reason to keep annoying me!! I'm going to file a harrassement complaint with GE Money!!

They've called several times asking for my sister. I've asked them what the name of the company is, they won't tell me. I've asked them several times not to call again, but they keep on calling.

330-433-5987 ge money... call me every day!  Said it was regarding my Sams club account.  I pay online every month, same day, never changes so there's no way I'm giving them any details over the phone!  This is for sure a scam beware!!! When I check my Sams club account it is on schedule and overpaid every month!  What jerks!!  When I told them that I pay online they said it didn't go through... liers!  It did go through!!

I have asked them many times not to call anymore, they call first thing in the morning, late at night, weekends and if I don't answer they call every 5 minutes, I decided to answer and then I heard a machine to tell me to call a number or to hold on the line for a person.  I want to report them to someone. Its Sam's Club wanting you to pay your bill.  That simple.

No, not that simple! They call my effing CELL NUMBER 5-6 times every day.  If it was legitimate they would leave a message.  And I'm not behind on any payments to anything.  So DO NOT give them any info!!!!  Phishing scam!

It is GE Money Bank (representing Sams Club) and is legit.  The system that they use to post payments frequently has 'errors' the most recent one on 10/16 and 10/17/08 which make it appear as if your account is in default even when you make payment.  I would call and get payment confirmation #'s etc. just to be safe if they are calling it means THEY are showing you in default and THEY report to the credit bureau so I would take it seriously and cya...
