330-459-9807 (Akron, Ohio): I received a call from this number on February 9th, 2016. They did not leave a message. I have found complaints on other sites claiming that it is a scam/robo call where they claim to be able to lower your credit card interest rates. When asked what company is calling, they hang up. Also, there is a male caller using this number who on occasion makes very perverted comments to the women who answer. The best way to deal with spam/scam calls is to get a call-blocking app for your phone, and block the call when you discover it's bad. I personally use Call Control, but there are other call-blocking apps that will do the job - some are free. The best policy for calls like this is to NEVER answer a call where you don't recognize the caller. Look it up and block it if it's a bad number. Once they are able to get a human being on the phone, they will keep calling over and over again. When you answer the call, you verify that the number they are calling is an active/good one. These people buy call lists from merchants or web sites you have done business with, and then share your information (usually you have agreed to this in the "fine print" of the terms of use) It is then up to the company that bought your number on a list to verify if it's good or not. If you never answer their call, eventually they will stop calling you, because they assume the number is no good.
