I hung up  and blocked them.

The FCC has temporarily halted 7 minor unprofitable boiler rooms who will receive a slap on the wrist and be back at it within a few days. In the meantime the calls will continue since they are making money with what is called a CNAM revenue-sharing program through companies like http://www.telephonemanagement.net and http://www.CallerID4U.com

In their own words:  'Every day your company makes thousands of outbound phone calls. Every one of those calls generates revenue for many companies, why not yours? Our CNAM revenue-sharing program helps you make money every time a Caller ID request is made by a phone carrier. A high-traffic call center can lose hundreds to thousands of dollars a day to phone carriers by allowing them to charge for access to your own data.'

You can now see why the criminals keep calling even though they know you won't fall for their scam. They are making money even if you don't answer the phone. If someone does make the mistake of answering the phone and falling for their scam then it is just icing on the cake for them. These people are the lowest form of filth on this planet.

1.    Hang Up. Do not press 1 or any other numbers to get off the list and NEVER call them back
2.    Consider blocking the number or on a cell phone add it to a contact list and assign NO ring tone

5.    People should continually file complaints with their Attorney Generals office

This number just called me. I did not answer, and they did not leave a message.

I just got a call from them (on Wednesday February 13 2013 around noon).  I didn't answer but they left a message in my voice mail.  

 Here's what was said:

  "Hello I'm Ashley, we spoke yesterday on Wednesday about locking in your gas card.  I can get you a deal at 89.5% interest....."

I hung up after that because I didn't want tom waste anymore of my time and I never spoke to her or anyone from that number.

I find it odd that she said we spoke yesterday on Wednesday, when today is Wednesday.
I also wonder if she meant to say 89.5%, seems somewhat high to me (the interest that is).

Ashley also didn't mention what company she worked for up front, she may have at the end of the message but as I said I hung up before the end of the message.

use to get calls from a maryland number now they are calling from illinois

This is an unknown call to my cell phone.  Because of the cost factor involved in cell phone usage, I do not want to receive any telemarketing calls on my cell phone.

I appreciate the list of what NOT to do because it says NEVER call them back; I admit I have done that with a number I didn't recognize, just in case ...

Recorded message for some class action lawsuit or something: if I've taken specific prescription medications, I may be entitled to compensation.  Illegal robocall.  Reported to donotcall.gov.

Got a call from 331-205-8765 and caller never picked up. I guess the robot assumed I wasn't there, considering I didn't pick up until after the 5th ring. Obviously a spammer.

recieved a call from this # and never answered the call.when i called the # back,was told i dialed wrong and check the #

I've gotten one of these weird calls every single month since I've been with Tracphone. And later got it through Tracfone/Safelink too.

I don't answer them..now.  But I do believe it's Tracfone's doing. It's is a foreign owned company and the US has an agreement with them thru the Safelink program.  Are they just getting/giving kickbacks to each other by selling our numbers??

Interesting that there are other reports from today. I got a call from this number about 20 minutes ago. I answered and they hung up immediately.

i just got one too at 4:32 est..  i didnt answer as i am at wk and they called my cell

Got a call regarding "Credit Card"   Recording was vague "You may have received our mail regarding your 'credit card'"  - no specific card was mentioned.  Curious.

Pressed 1 to connect to a representative.   Reading a script, but seemed quite well trained in telemarketing.  It wasn't a temp or minimum-wage representative... this was someone good.

I wasn't sneaky enough to keep them on the line.

"Who am I speaking with"  I answered with "Michael".

Some 2nd question - I can't remember.... but answered with 'I don't know"
  Response, "that's ok."

Third question: "Do you have a credit card you owe more than $1000 on?"
  I answered with "I'm not willing to give that information at the moment"

Quickly followed with a "Thank you for your time"  and a hangup.
