Got a call from this number,,, did not recognize it so did not answer nor call them back. A search turned up nothing. Anyone have an idea who it is ??

I also got a call from this number on my cell phone....no message.  I called it back and I got a voice recorded message that said the number was disconnected.  I think it's either scammers or telemarketing.

Answered a call on my cell phone from this number. It is a scammer telemarketer recording from credit card services promising to lower my credit card rates to 6.5 percent.  I pressed 1 to chew them out, pressing 1 ends the call.  I called the number back, and it is "out of service".  I never give out my cell phone number to other than family members.  I understand that they scan your contacts for more numbers while you are answering their call.  So I entered the number as a contact under the S%^**head family name. Right now they are calling themselves.

Random call to both my fiance and I, did not answer, no message. Called back, disconnected number. Too coincidental that the number called our cell phones back to back.

I too have received this call but didn't answer it.  I do not answer incoming calls without know who they are.   But would love to know what you do in order for them to do as you say "they are calling themselves".  That little trick I would love to do.

So glad you posted this...I  just received a call on my cell phone, I did not answer...So much for the DO not Call list..my cell phone is registered on.  Thanks everyone..=)

Keep getting calls from this number, for the last week, Ive gotten 11 calls from 334-218-7621. I dont answer numbers I dont recognize, nor will I. My cell number is brand new and I dont give out my number. They dont leave messages. Be wary of calls like this, its probably one of those computer dialers with a fake number trying to get your information from your cell phone. Dont ever answer numbers you dont know, let it go to voicemail and if its legit they will leave a number. Its been on CNN about autodialers and identity theft from calls like these.

Received a call today. I recognized the number from previous calls and ignored it.

I just used iPhone's block caller function to block them after reading this thread...  Won't be hearing from them again...

They just called my cell even though I'm on the Do Not Call registry.   It is a company that wants to refinance your credit cards for a fee.

They just called mine about a minute ago. Didn't answer. Number appears from Greensboro, AL. The caller did not leave a voicemail. When I called back, I received a Special Information Tone (disconnection tones indicating a failed call) and a poorly recorded female voice indicating that the number has been disconnected. The recording sounded as if the woman speaking has recorded the message in her house.

None:  Listed on Craigslist to call/text to buy a vehicle that is being held by ebay for auction.  Its a scam!

Best way to deal with them! Note: on Android phones I believe it is auto reject number feature.
