Got a message from this # claiming criminal proceeding... LOL never lived in alabama and being a professional collector... I will have a field day with this.... They never heard of FDCPA im guessing

So did I today so basically their full of it

received a call today from this number saying the were a law firmed called longgaurd and olsen law. The called me regards to a payday loan they said I got with some company back in 2007. I believe this to be fraud because the claim they wanted money to settle the debt which is weird with them being a law firm not  a debt collector. I must say they did steal all my information because they had my ssn, name, old address, and some how my NEW phone number. The lady that called me was named C. Williams (african american woman)

I received a call from Chanel Williams from Longuard & Olson Law Firm stating that I owed $770 from a payday loan with Quickest Cash Advance from 2009.  I informed her that I had paid off this loan through a consolidation loan and she told me that I was being charged with bank fraud and wire fraud.  I told her that according to FCRPA that I was entitled to written verification of the debt.  She transferred me to her supervisor, Ava Longuard, who told me that most consolidation companies were frauds.  I told her that was not the case because I had the proof that the debt was paid off and that according to FCRPA I was requesting written verification of the debt.  She told me "how about I just throw your ass in jail."  At that time I hung up.  I reported the incident to www.ic3.gov 

It is scary to know these people have my SSN, my address, my phone number, and my employer name.  How do they get this information and what can be done to stop them????

Got a call from this number yesterday and they said I got a on line loan and never paid back. They said I was going to go to jail if I didn't pay it back. The loan was from 2010. I paniced and ended up paying 420.00 by my debit card and then found out it was a scam.

Me too' that low life suckered me and I paid 450" they called my job threatened my secretary that they were. Coming g down to arrest me so and so on. I knew I had a outstanding loan but that was 8years ago.  This so can,led lawyer said I would received end restitution papers etc I have not got it its been 4 months.  I called to find any I had not received  the papers a d the so called lawyer cussed me out she called me everything and has. Never seem I have been bamboozled they will get theirs we need to stand together and prosecute their behinds.

They got me for 460.00 it is a scam
