Tired of getting calls like this one from this number

This phone # is from Winston-Salem, NC.  Don't know anyone from there.  I do not answer calls from any person or phone number I don't recognize.  This person left a voicemail that I was named in a lawsuit, that there was a complaint on me and gave some phony case #.  Told me that I needed an attorney and to call this phone number.  I had 24 to 48 hours to ... (then the voicemail stopped).  The actual message is as follows:

"Sharon Green this is a civil investigations unit. We are contacting you in regards to a complaint being filed against you. First I went to the claimant affidavit number PS-1707. Where you have been named a respondent in a court action and must appear. There is a contact number on file which you must call 3362830327. Please forward this information to your attorney in that the order to show cost contains a restraining order. You or your attorney will have twenty four to fo..."

I just received this same phone call.  I have called them it is a scam thru Pay day loan Corporation as in Cash American or Cash Advance. They say I have closed my bank account, which is false and that I didn't pay a loan back, which is false.  She told me I would be receiving email information with the legal case number.  Courts do not send info thru emails.

I also got this call this morning.  I am not calling them back.  If someone was sueing you, I believe you have to be served with papers.  Not sure what the laws are in NC but it seem bogus to me.

This Global Litigatin or Prelitigatioin or something similar called my mother stating I owed a quicken loan. I've never ever had a need to use a quicken loan. Anyway, I called the # back and the "Amber Scott" went on a rant about being served with papers. I told her I wasn't paying a dime and she must be scaming folks! In the first phone call, she wouldn't tell me anything who about the company, and wouldn't let me speak to a supervisor, no address, nothing. So she ended the call w/ "your going to jail". So I called back, but this time she changed her name to Jennifer Jones and I was like really?? You just told me your name was Amber Scott. So she then asked me "why are you calling back" you've already said you weren't paying so you are going to jail" I told her she was going to jail because this was a scam!  It's a scam! Call your family and friends, it's a scam, it's a scam. It is a scam.
I told my mom to have her phone company block that number because it was a scam!

Got a call today from this number female caller said she was with F.B.I office I was named in a civil suit I was going to be arrested. I was given a case number and said I had 24-48 hours to respond (or my attorney). She left this voice mail on my phone.

Received call from 336 283 0327 saying I was going to be sued:  A civil case.and  gave me a case #.
No ID name came with the message.  Since I neither owe anything, have excelent credit,
and pay all bills as they come due, why and who could be suing me?   It seems that
an ID name would come with such a call.  I have not been served with papers.  Surely this is a
scam.

they dont call me they leave this same mesg to my kids and they were scare dont like this at all , I call them and told me to make payments arrangements by phone credit -debit or check $200 +

My children and I received the same call yesterday regarding my husband.  Calling the family to cause trouble is definitely an invasion of privacy.  First they indicated that there was pending litigation against my husband and they were to assist us to avoid being subpoenaed. Then they refused to give information regarding the account.

My ex-wife recieved a call. Im a lawyer. Called to get information.  The person hung up the phone.  Called the ligit group in california.  Said the North Carolina group is a scam....

same call this morning  its a scam got same call last summer from ca  after i told him i turned him over to fbi never got bugged again ,this jerks are scamers and thats it i never heard of calling you to go court mail or bring it in person

got a call this morning asking for a relative ??? and then went on to say what  and why. I know my relative very well, this is wrong like a kids size 4 shoe! i called my relative to confirm =0) places me on hold then confirms the same message. finds out 50+ complaints. lets stop this now b 4 people really get hurt.

Today i received a call from this number that they did sue me !? Omg!!!

This is a scam. If you are being sued you must be served with a summons to appear by a sheriff or process server. That is the law in all 50 states. If you get this as a message just delete it or report it to your State Attorney General's office. If you answer this call laugh very loudly at them and hang up!
