Got a call, no message left. I don't even think they let it ring the whole time.

Has called more than once-haven't answered

Call left on my machine.  Music played, no other ID.

Got a call from this number. Called it back and received a message that the number wasn't in service after several rings.

This number has called me everyday for about a week finally called it back (normally I dont answer numbers I dont know) it rang about 4 or 5 times and said this number is no longer in service?!?

This number called me 3 times, I called back and recieved a "This number is no longer in service" message. Odd.

This number has called me over and over agen. I have not picked up. I looked on line for info and apparently its a collection place out of Oregon. At least that is were the 336 area code is from.

I found a comment from someone on whocallsme that compiled everything they could find on rogue debt collectors, including the way the crime bureaus handle complaints, what your rights are and how to defend yourself. It can be found under 8043185476 ("Scam" 23 Dec 11).

Also, would you like a call-blocker? I recommend Google Voice, because it's free, and csn block calls to your landline and workplace so these people will not be able to bother you there. The setup instructions are in my comment on whocallsme under 7024381678, and for all other call-blockers, 3059182338.

Received a call from this number but didn't answer it; when I attempted to call the number received a "the number you called is not in service" message.

336-747-1939 called me then asked for me by first and last name then when I said this was her she said she was from a consumer place for a survey and asked what age range I was A. 18-25 B. 26-33 C. 34-41 ect....... Then I said I was 28 and she said I was to young for this certain survey and when I asked her question she didn't know how to answer then I said my father would be able and she wouldn't answer why he couldn't do the survey? Why did she really call and know my name and ask my age? Is there a number I can call back? The number I have is out of service when you call back.... But I càlled it right back they shouldn't be allowed to do that

Keep getting calls from this number.  When you call it back a message says the number is not available.

How do I stop the harassment?

I am on the do not call list. Seems like since I registared its worse. they won't say nothing and I am tired of them. They are calling my home and my cell phone.

anyone who signs up on a dnc (do not call) list makes me laugh im in the business of calling and well it seems annoying the hell out of people just like yourselves. If you have ever signed up for a national do not call list there is no such thing. There is nothing that can stop me from calling any number i want short of that person disconnecting their phone. Now i do understand how annoying it is to get random calls from a random stranger most likely clear cross the country, often times with sensitive information, I also understand the legal laws of states that do not allow phone solicitations, surveys, or just plain telemarketing. What you as a person who picks up your phone and being a resident of that state needs to understand I am out side of your states jurisdiction and your states law do not apply to me. :) hope this was informational to someone. have a wonderful day

Chris, you should know that karma doesn't play around. Your poorly written little paragraph shows that you enjoy being an annoyance. Also, you should know that there is a national do not call list and if you call me and I am on that list, I fill out a little form and you get fined or worse. I suppose being an annoying a$$hole is the only employment you could find, being practically illiterate and clearly uneducated. I hope your day today and every day goes exactly as you deserve for it to go.
