My name is Steve Martin and I'm calling regarding an enforcement actions executed by US treasury and tending your serious attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jewelry for a federal criminal offense. My number is 337-324-1482. I repeat 337-324-1482. I wife(?) you to cooperate with others and helpers to help you. Thank you."   The Government always sends you written communication. This is a SCAM

Just got the same voice mail.  What a scam!  Don't call back!!!

read from the script above, when I asked for more information on myself I was transferred to a supervisor (same person, different accent) who wouldn't answer any questions either, then informed me he was sending officers to arrest me in 40 minutes, the IRS would be seizing my bank accounts in 30 minutes.  Called the bank, nothing, set a timer and made coffee for the officers(drank it myself)....called COX to see if I was charged, nope, they reported it.....called back in 15 to tell same guy the coffee was getting cold, how's the weather in Vinton, La?  "vere?" hang up....now, as I have begun to wonder if I should have showered for the officers, the time has passed for them to arrest me.....SCAM....and steve will no longer answer my calls

Just got same call, being accountant I know not to play their stupid games:
If you get a phone call by someone claiming to be from the IRS:
Don't talk to the caller or give out any information.
Hang up immediately.
Report the call to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, either online at IRS Impersonation Scam Reporting or by phone at 800-366-4484.
It only takes a quick minute.

Received the same message. My number is on the do not call list. So much for that. This scam has been going on for a long time. It is time to put these people in jail.

I received this call yesterday with the same script as above. Steve Martin sayinig he was with the IRS and something about my 2013 taxes. Steve was very hard to understand and when I started asking questions he said he would call me back another time. Haven't heard from him since.

Same call, received minutes ago;  second time this month.   I don't answer this ridiculous, scam caller.  But it's annoying!!!

I got this call 2 hours ago. Was threatened with arrest and my bank account frozen. I called the IRS to inform them of this scam. IRS assured me that they don't call. They send letters. And confirmed that I don't owe them a cent. Beware!

I received a call from this same number with the exact same script.  I have received similar calls from a man with an Indian voice claiming to have cash winnings for me telling us that we had to pay money through wire in order to receive the winnings.  I reported this to the police.  Whoever is doing this needs to be punished for harassment.  This is indeed a scam.

Why doesn't the IRS step in and get this guy?

This person has tried to contact me several times. This is a scam. I already knew the government would send a letter first. I really hope that no one will get duped by this
