caller ID says debt b gone. I have received a few calls from this number over the past week or so. THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE

This is a recorded message from someone trying to refi a home loan. I am on a do not call list!! This is getting disgusting that the do not call list does not work. What is going on here?

Debt B Gone is the latest in a series of harrassment telemarketer calls using the same reference number.  Looks like they are selling our personal information if they get no where.  I will report this number to FCC just as I did 262-995-9099 and 406-852-8377 who used the same reference number, but so far FCC has done nothing.  Am on Do Not Call list but that doesn't matter anymore.

donotcall list is a scam
it only works for the companies willing to use it
there is no law stating they have to go thru it.
99% of telemarketers etc are void from it.

A note to "Dave."  The Do Not Call List is NOT a scam.  It's a legitimate service.  If a company chooses to break the law and call people without using the list, then they are the scam not the service.  That's like saying the police are a scam because people still break into houses.

I have reported many numbers to Do Not Call.  Within months and sometimes as soon as weeks, they stop. I have also been contracted by them when they were doing a more in depth investigation of a boiler room operation.

So again, use Do Not Call and report people. Do Not Call is active and will work for you.

Oh and Dave, "hence I got a cell phone." That won't change a thing for scammers.  They will call that number too when they reach it through auto dialing. You really need to do your homework.

I just got a call from (339) 502-6709 and no one answered.  I'm also on the do-not-call list. They're scammers.

When I pick up the phone there is no one there
No recorded greeting nothing
Called back and got a "Press 1 if you want to be removed from our call list"

dosen't leave a message. they are a pain.

Received two calls now from  DEBT B GONE. The first time I hit 3, which was what they said to do if I didn't want any more calls. Today I hit 5 to "renegotiate my mortgage" (and by the way, I don't even have a mortgage, my house is paid for), and they said everyone was busy, leave them a message. So I did - and told them they were being reported, as hey didn't remove my number the first time, and I am on the DO NOT CALL list. Grrrrrrrrrr.

Once I saw who was calling, I just let it ring. I'ts just another scam marketing call

Sick of these guys calling during or after dinner.  Robo-dial, hang up.  The next day get a "reduce your mortgage payment" robodial, or a "reduce your credit card interest rate" robodial.  Noone seems to do anything---FTC, AG, etc.  Would like to hire Uncle Break-a-Bone to pay them a visit one of these days.  What good is the DoNotCall list?  

What do we have to do to get enforcement out of the jerks that we hired and pay for with our federal taxes that sit on their fat a***s until their pension is collected, doing nothing but pushing paper back and forth?  What a waste of resources.

I got a call from this number and researching who they are.

They just keep calling. How do I get them to stop ? It's nothing but harassement.
