Letter from a Spanish lawyer wanting to go halves with me in a 7.5 mill euro inheritance.

also got a letter from same spanish lawyer stating he wants to go halves in a 7.5 million inheritance..

I've also received a letter saying the same thing.  Funny how all these people have passed away with the same fortune.  Obviously it's a life ending amount to accumulate.

The phone number is the same on the letter I got.

Same company, same amount.

I'm from Australia, I received the letter in the post today, decided to give them a call to see if it was a real company or not. The guy on the other line said he would call back in 5mins. I thought it was strange after i hung up, I didn't leave my name or number, how would they know who I am. The guy called back, wanted my email address and wanted to forward on the details even after I had asked how am I entitled to something that isn't related to me. The guy didn't sound spanish, had a pretty clear Indian accent. He wanted everything dealt through email. I believe this is a scam, they want too much information. What a coincidence that we all are meant to inherit the same amount!!

just wondering if details are the same in all of the letters. the deceased persons name is Engr.Lyman and then the surname of the person sent to. Am I correct? Unless of course we're all related. Is that you cuz?

Yes - We also received a letter - same name Engr Lyman and our last name. What do you think this guy is trying to get out of everyone? Steal identity? Weird. Please post if anyone finds out more!

Don't worry Em. It's a scam. If it was legit, he'd only want his legal fee

I got mail addressed to the previous owners of the home i live now, there was no return address but i could see it was sent from "Portugal" Fnny, this family also had a realtive Engr. Lyman with EUR $7.5. Talk about dodgy brothers inc. Oh gotta love that they are donating 10% to charity and the rest is  50/50 split!!!!

The letter was also from Belzuz & Belzuz Associates - gotta laugh, you can so tell that the letters have been printed on a cheap home printer, the page is not even level - if it was legit, one would anticitpate that it would be on official letterhead of more than a standard 80gsm!!!!

Seriously, if someone wants to pull a good con, these people have got a lot to learn.

I, also, got a letter with the same details like everyone else expect for mai surname. I wonder if the lawyers know how many debts I have at the moment and no savings.

Hi I just received the same letter today, was slightly excited for a minute then realised it sounded to good to be true, thanks everyone for sharing your info to help everyone else out
