Received a call telling me to call this number.  Guy's name was James Carter and he was from Affiliated Consolidation Services.  They gave an acquaintance's name and said it was a "serious issue" and that I should be on the "safer side." (March 10, 2010)  I did not return call.

I just got the same phone call and his name is Zack, he said that it was a fraud issue, I think these people are getting our names from paydays loans..IGNORE!!!!!BEWARE!!!!!!!SCAMMERS!!!!!!

My wife and i have recieved the the same call and i call them back and them back and after a very heated "discussion" they gat mad and hung up on me I have reported them to the local police and they are taking measures.From what i can tell they are located in new york, new york.

Same calls like the others and he also made comments towards me sexually.

he said his name was Sebastian and he is with the ACS, I couldn't understand about 1/2 of what he said.  I asked him who he represented and he gave me Cash Net USA and I asked him for the address, he said he wasn't authorized to give me an address for a company so he gave me his address.  He asked if I had information showing I had paid I asked him what he was talking about that I didn't know anything about it and he kept repeating that.  He said that several people were trying to scam me and I told him yeah he was one of them and then he hung up on me.

I received a voicemail from this company also.  He said, "My name is.....(he hesitated as if he'd lost his place on his script) Stan Logan. And like everyone else, I had to listen to the message a few times to understand what ws being said.  I have no intention of calling them back.  I have a call filter application on my phone & they just made the list.

Try to call back to the 347-289-3122, the number is continually busy now.  They were calling and harassing me day after day as well, same story too, they are definitely scammers, do not give out your information.  Every number they have had is no longer working, little by little they are shuttung them down.  Follow through and report them to your Attorney General, the FTC, FCC, and www.ic3.gov, the more complaints, the more consumer awareness, that is how they shut these people down.  Google fake debt collectors ABC news and read the article, apparently this has been going on for years.

By the way, other names they use are James Smart, David Warner, Sebastian Logan, Joseph Williams.  When their number was working I decided to call back, I told them my name was Eileen Dover (totoally fictitous name of course), wouldn't you know I just happened to be in their system and of course I owed money for an outstanding payday loan!!!  This was a very serious matter, the conversation got more interesting as we went along since I was really playing into his scheme by the end of the conversation all I could understand were the swear words in english, all I know is that he was MAD, serves him right for thinking that he can sit on his ass in the comfort of his home in India screwing hard working Americans of their hard earned money, Please!!!

I too have received calls stating they were lawyers for cashnetusa and that they were suing me and pressing charges against me. I am meeting with my lawyer in the morning to see if we can't do something about this. I looked up cashnetusa one time, but didn't go through with it. The "scammers" are telling me they have me on fraud charges. Total bullsh!t.

Don't waste money on an attorney, chances of getting anywhere are slim to none, they are operating out of the country, it will cost you more than you will recover, especially since you haven't lost anything since you were smart enough to catch on to their scam.  I believe the number is shut down, it just rings busy now, don't let them get to you, if you really want to have some fun with them answer your phone "sacred cow meat packing you stam em we slab em how may I help you?" some other off the wall greeting.  What was funnier was when he asked for my credit card info I said well how about you give me your credit card, slide it down my crack and we can make a transaction, again he started screaming obscenities and hung up.  I figured, if they can call hundreds of people each day and play those games I will give them a good taste of their own medicine, not to mention a few phone calls initiated on my own end.  What are they going to do call and say I am running an illegal scam and this person is harassing me, NOT!!  The are nothing more than dirty rotten thieves.
