CAll came into my fax line 2x and hung up

I got this call too on June 9th.  It was a truncated pre-recorded message on my voice mail trying to sell something.  My caller ID captured this number and the caller identified only as New York.

received this call no one left a message. Don't know why they would be calling me. Thank God for caller ID

I just put them on my phones BLOCKED #'s
they just called again today and the phone  blocked them
they are from NEW YORK

Received a call on 10/27/10 10:51 P.M. PST.

The caller was New York.

Called back thinking it was from an apt I rented in New York.

But, there was no ringing or no answer, only silence.

Figured it was a telemarketer, so I hung up.

definitely a telemarketer.  left a message about carpet cleaning.  they have called me a number of times.  
i am on the do not call list, so what they are doing is unlawful  i will report them.

special deal on carpet cleaning.  total scam company.

I just got this call from New York.  Glad I didn't answer or return call.

Called my cell phone twice at 11:00 a.m.  My phone is always on silent so I didn't answer.

Received call today at 4:44 pm.  Caller ID displayed as "NWYRCYZN14 N".  A pre-recorded message regarding carpet cleaning was left on my voicemail.  The beginning of the pre-recorded message was chopped off as if the message started playing before my voicemail started recording.

I got a call from this # on March 24, 2011. No one on the other side.

I got a call from this number on May 9.  It was a recorded ad for duct cleaning.  I am on the Do Not Call list and have received countless unwanted calls regarding duct cleaning services.  Thanks to all that post on this list.  Please continue to report these callers to the Do Not Call list as well.

This is probably the fifth or sixth call in the last six months from this [***]. Its an automated b*tch asking if I want my carpets cleaned. When I attempt to press "2" to have my number removed from the list, it disconnects. Although, I have been able in the past to press "2" to be removed from the list. Clearly, it didn't work.

I called the number back to blast them about calling me and it goes straight to voice-mail and a message that the mail box is full. If I/we can find out who the carrier is, I/we can file a claim with carrier and/or have the carrier shut down the line. But that's provided that the line is not a fake number to begin with...needs more investigating.

If anyone should happen to stumble across an address for this a**hole, we should all get together and take turns punching this prick for every annoying call received; video tape it, post it online, and let the other [***] know that when we catch them, we're going to throw them a beating too!

Okay, so unfortunately corporal punishment when many years ago, so, this is even better, the US supreme courts should impose larger penalties; lets say starting at $5,000.00 per number dialed and answered. Then go after the person or company that gave or sold this [***] our phone numbers and tax them another $5,000.00 and so on and so on. Now the possibility of getting paid three or four times over keeps getting better. Something along these lines would take telemarketing businesses to a screeching halt!

But I doubt it would ever happen, nice thought for a minute...I'd gladly forgo all the money that might of been made suing this a**hole to knock his f**kin teeth down his throat! That's priceless!

Unsolicited call from 347-298-1357 on 2011-06-02 @ 10:42 am Central; caller ID indicates "NWYRCYZN14  NY"; no message left. Number called (my phone) is on Do Not Call list, this unsolicited call is in violation of rules regarding robo calls to phones. I reported complaint with www.donotcall.gov

Got this number today.  I know I've reported them in the past, but I'm reporting them again.  This time they were trying to sell "Duct Cleaning Services", and if you press "1" they transfer you to a "local customer service representative".  Caller ID says its from NY, but the "local representative" was in Chicago (where I live).  We are a Do Not Call number, but the lady at other end didn't even seem to know what that was.

My message left on my answering machine was for  "Duct Cleaning Services" as well.  I too live in Chicago.  The call was picked up my machine at around 6:20 p.m. CDT.

Same number, same story. I'm from the Chicagoland area, but never pressed 1 or 2 out of fear that they'd scam me somehow with long distance crap (you never know.) I've been called for both carpet and air ducts. I am on the do not call list, and have reported these people. I wished they'd stop calling and waking my kids up at nap time... that's precious quiet time for me! ;)

Got a call from this number 10 AM on a SUNDAY!...truncated message on the answering machine, caller ID shows NY.  I am registered on the Do Not Call list, not sure why I am getting these calls.
