Who is the owner?

Frankly from reading the above comments it is clear that the same person or persons calling my home have typed these comments because their English skills are very limited.

My caller, John William, had trouble remembering his name and went from claiming that he worked for Microsoft to then being a GVN technician.  He was almost desperate for me to sign into his company's website.

He claimed to have an image of my computer but when I asked how he could have an image of my computer without my authorization he stalled.  He said my anti-virus company was the source but I asked him which one I used and he couldn't help me.

On other sites the responses mirror mine of a scam and possible phishing expedition.  These are the last people I'd trust and there was a law suit filed against them in Michigan; it looks like they want more suits.

Please report them to the Do-Not-Call registry if you number like ours is registered.

My caller refused to give his name, just repeated that his conmpany, GVN Tech Support, was Microsoft certified and they had contracted to resolve the issue of all the arge volume of downloads from a restricted site.

I played along with his banter until I got his phone number.  He had asked me to open the "Computer Mangement / Systems tools / event viewer"  I didn't give any of the info in those log files , but he was looking for IP addtresses &etc.

I pointed out that I have a M.A. in Computer Systems, but that didn't faze him; he kept on talking.  After getting his phone #, I then said I was already on the do-not-call list and hung up.

Recieved a call from this number sawing that is your computer having some problem and i said yes and the person started working on my computer and trust he fix my computer entirely in just 1 hour that was great

This number called my home address and then kept at me. I did give in and now I'm on the phone with dell fixing it...I should have known...

We got called from this guys weekly as private caller. This person said he's from GVN a 'Microsoft' family compagny and our computer is about to crash due to viruses. I asked him a few questions all he could gave me was his name (Rueh) and this phone number: 347-338-2307. Who are these people?

Received call from 347-338-2307 claiming to be microsoft tech support to fix a problem I was having. I was having no issues. Strong far eastern accent, claimed he was calling from Indiana. 347 is a New York area code.
