These people are not in the US. I have filed a complaint with my local FBI & Homeland Security offices. They are aware of these peole & can not do much. The FBI told me to tell them " to come & get me"  I did & also told them that I had reported them to the FBI & Homeland Security. It made them mad but they stopped calling.

this person call my friend asking for me saying that she was a lawyer, I don't know who is this person calling my friends , this been going for long so please this have to stop. I call the FBI and I been filed a lot of complains and this keep going , is driving me crazy. So tell me what should I do. Thanks

Received call today that went to voicemail. Phone number left was a different number from what was given in the voicemail ( and they had 1 to many digits on the number) and an unknown caller. Person on the voicemail was hard to understand....Asian with a American name. Said he was with some kind of FBI investigation place ( really couldn't understand the name). Said to call him back to asap so they can work something out before I get in more serious trouble. I actually called the number given and told them that I have reported them with the authorities and that  I know they are scamming people and they are frauds harassing people and better stop. I also blocked the phone number with my phone carrier.  
They stop for awhile and then start up again anywhere from 2 months or more with different phone numbers.
I am so sick and tired of these evil people. They need to stop.
I had one police office told me I should have a whistle close by and if I should answer a call when received........Blow whistle right in their ear. Though I normally do not answer unknown calls........if they can not give me name listed with the phone number; then it's probably scam callers.

and he said, I owe a bill.

This is a lie and the business is unknown its a scam and a lie.

Received a call fromthis number at my place of employment today. A person who said their name is Samantha from ACS.

I got a call today from a Lisa Jones (very thick accent) who said she was with the Department of ? Consolidation Services.  The company has a legal matter with me regarding my name and social identity.  They are persuing a check fraud matter.  I'm thinking they are the ones trying to pass bogus checks on an account we had to close a couple of years ago but the bank still receives electronic checks from this mysterious company.  The number she called from was 360-717-3601 but the number she wants me to call her back at is 347-338-6018.  

She also said she could not give me details or a case number on my voice mail. That's strange to me because when I have a bill collector call, they always leave a case number.  I have filed the number under scammers but I'm waiting to see what happens next.

Just got a call from a Mark Madison who claims to be an officer and has a legal matter against me.  Says they will come and arrest me at my place of business.  He called from phone number:
347-338-6018.  Heavy Indian accent with an American name.  These people need to stop.  They are scammers who are hacking into anyone who has ever applied for a short term pay day loan on line.  What they do is get your personal information on line and harrass and try to scam you.  Please do not give into their calls.  They are horrible people harrassing good people who are simply trying to survive in this troubled economic world.  I did speak to my local FBI office and also my local police station.  They seem to be aware of these scam.

I just received a call from them as well and they said they were going to send legal action to my work. I told them not to call again. No idea what company. It was a foreign person with an american name. I am not sure but I think that they are a scam.

My best friend called saying he got a call from these people claiming to be lawyers. My Fiance called them back (as I found this site and knew it was a scam) and called saying she was a lawyer with the law offices of Dewey,cheatim and howe...(say it together and you will get the joke)  anyways she said she had a list of clients who contacted her about them and she was setting up a class action lawsuit against them. If anyone gets calls from them, do the same... Fight fire with fire..... these people are taught to use any means necessary to get money..... so give it right back to them..... if not for yourself then for the other people out there who are falling victim to these [***]... Just tell them you are representing a list of clients who have contacted the FBI and FTC as well as the BBB and you have a class action lawsuit stemming against them. The guy started to panic on the phone and lost his cool and you could hear concern in his voice.... we all need to do this

"Mark Johnson" called MY cell phone looking for "your sibling" said that he was going to transfer the pending lawsuit against her into my name because I wasn't cooperating with their investigations!  What a JOKE!  And he left it on my VOICEMAIL!  Thank you for the incriminating evidence against you! Come on people!  Get a life.

He left a number 347-338-6018 to call back, but it's funny...if you try to call it back, it doesn't accept incoming calls.At least it didn't when I tried to call it back.  Sounds MORE than a little fishy to me!  

There is a special place in Hell for this type of telephone scammer : )  Enjoy your seats boys and girls!

Of course this is a scam! They're going after people with Asian or Indian last names, which really made me mad. So I did a lot of investigating online, and called the scammers back pretending to want to send money. They ARE running this out of the U.S. In fact, they're in an office building in the Bronx, NY.   Or at least, they were, until I called the management office of the building - 1200 Waters Place, Bronx, NY 10461
