Who is calling me from 347-377-7684. I've received phone calls like this before, but this is a new number, same area code but different number. Strong middle eastern accent, guy said his name was Jack Smith. Sounds like a scam like the others. Not sure how they received my info. Said that my social security number and investigation would go to the courts.  
Left a message saying he was from the investigative dept, and said additional info, but I could not understand him.

Same as the one above me he knew all of my personal information including my social my birthdate my Id number and my new email address.  Said that he was calling about a loan that I already paid back.  He was yelling at me trying to get me to comfirm my info then when I would not he started calling me names.  He told me he was from Federal Crime Division.  Watch out for this number I think he was trying to get me to give him my Banking info.

I got that same call to day from 347-377-7684 , the maan name was Jack Smith stated that I had a civil suit file under my social and ask me how do I want to pay it ,I told him he want be recive a dime from me and then he told me the police going to pick me up in three days I told him fine ,they had been calling me from so many difference numbers they willbe okay .

.This guy is full of [***]. Says he is a cop,lawyer ,and any thing under the sun. Says he's gonna have me in jail in a couple days lol. What's really funny about it all is when he thinks he's tough and calls you [***] and son of a [***] all you have to do is say whatever abu and he gets so mad he hangs up on you. Lol you know what's even more funny about it my checking account was hacked in to and overdrawn by $30.00 the other day and the credit union couldn't figure it out either. But there was a phone number where it was charged from and when I called it it was another middle eastern man the answered the phone and wouldn't give me info so I hung up and called back again and got another middle eastern woman that wouldn't tell me anything either. The phone # for that place is 1-866-235-7681 good luck everyone and hope we catch this [***].

I received a message at my place of employment saying i needed to call JACK SMITH at 347-377-7684 because I have a LAWSUIT AGAINST ME!!! I called the number back and reached the voicemail of LAW & INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT. But just like Chris Johnson my checking account was hacked into for $30.00 twice.  I had the bank do a stop payment, but the money still came out.  On my bank statement it reads: Dir Fund New Line and the phone number is 877-786-4120, when I called this number I just hear a message that says I have reached them after business hours and to call back during normal business hours and it does not state what the normal business hours are.  I DEFINATELY HOPE THAT SOMEONE CATCHES THIS GUY!!!!!!!   I also talked to a REAL lawyer and he says it is all a scam!!!!!!!

My girlfriend just called me crying. This [***] called her work and left a message. She's terrified of what her employers might think about the situation. I Googled the name and area code immediately and found this thread. However, when she tried to return the call, the "Magic Jack customer" has been disconnected. I assume from complaints. Worth noting however is that like previous posters, she also had the 2 $30 fraudulent deductions from her account.

It's a sad state of affairs when someone can run ragtag through your life. Unfortunately this appears to be one of the many hidden costs of educating the 3rd World.

This same person called me while I was on vacation threatening me with 2 years jail time, a lawsuit and court dates. My first problem was he couldn't tell me which courthouse. I was terrified until he couldn't answer any of my questions, and didn't follow any of the debt collection protocol.  He said he was from Law and Investigation Dept and this was abt a cash advance someone in my family took out in my name.  I really hope and pray they catch him and all his workers before they scam anyone else successfully.  QUICKLY!!!

I just got the same call.  Talking about a loan from Cash Advace USA. He is very rude!!!! Tellimg me I'm gonna have to pay 12000.  For what?  I have nevery gotten a loan.

i got a call from 347377684 the man was talking broken info , he threatened me that I would go to jail . He asked me to secure a lawyer and that he was going to give me info that I needed to give to my lawyer so I would not go to prison. He kept refering to my maiden last name which I do not use  and upset my child because she could hear his aggression . i just hung up on him.

I think that This is linked wit some loan place called PMT ASSIST. Not only did they withdraw 30 dollars out my account, they did it twice! then i got a call from that dumb f*ck saying he is going to take me to jail in seven days, ppl please report this. they are trying to get money out us!! They put me 60$ in the hole and my account was almost closed!!!

got a call from this # w the same bs he's given everyone else!! this is unreal, i will be filing reports tomorrow on it and him! i have never recieved $ from Cash Advance and this is absolutely crazy!!! someone please do something. he also gave me a # for info from another scammer. i looked both of them up and they are both under scams

I also got a call from this number telling me I owed money on a loan i dont know about. they said I would be arrestted and go to jail if I didnt pay back $720. the person on there said his name is griffin bell. I told him I wanted a letter but he never send me one, I told him I was going to talk to a lawyer first, He gave me a number for the company but it was close to the number that call me

This guy is doing the same thing to me but he is getting more aggressive. He is telling me that he is going to come to my home and work and knows both address. He also is called my job so much they had to call the cops. He would not stop calling my cell phone until my stepson got on there and insulted him to the point he could not talk in any language. Tell him Jesus loves him and he goes crazy.

I also recieved the same call as above from 347-377-7684.  and I recieved it at 600 in the morning which I am pretty sure any legitimate company would not do.  I also had my checking account debited for .01 and then .03 and than $30 all of which where for a company that I have never heard of and am unable to get a hold off.  I have had to close my account and open a new one and what I hassle for me with automatic payment and direct deposit set up on the old account.

SCAM - lawyer,cop, collection agent -- left 10 messages for me to call back. I called back from another phone number and it was middle eastern - Jack Smith.

This Jack Smith has been harrassing me at work and in my personal life. I am EXTREMELY distraught because I sent this [***] 200.00 through western union and almost sent him another 229.00 until I began to question why Cashnet was still calling me when I supposedly made arrangements with this individual who called stating he represented Cashnet. I called Cashnet and they had never heard of a Jack Smith and asked me to call their compliance department which was an insult because they asked me to leave a message with my contact info and that they would call me back in one day. Unbelievable!!!!! An issue like this needs to be resolved IMMEDIATELY! The question I have is how did this individual gain access to my personal information when the Cashnet website is supposed to be a SECURED site!!! This Jack Adams has been calling my work and cell phone off and on today. I will be filing a police report and notifying the district attorney in NY.

i have gotten same call from the same guy. Its got to be a scam, dude sounds like a terrorist, and what kind of terrorist name is Jack Smith anyways he is a huge fake

i recived the same call from kiven johnson stated that i get a loan for 1,000 i ask him from what payday loan he could not tell me theseSOB need to be stop i am working on it .they are not police ,lawyar,investigation they are scams.they need to be lockup and pick the key in there A....S for safe keeping. another SOB from the same number said i get a lone for 300.00 they can kiss you know the rest. PS I HOPE THEY READ THIS

Aggressive caller. Called himself Jack Smith but had a very heavy and foreign accent.  He called 4 times yesterday stating I was named in a legal suit for check fraud, theft and illegal EFT transfer. Supposedly calling from a New York law firm. If I didn't respond favorably, there would be further legal action including suit, police action and financial ramifications.
I told him to send all the above in writing and not to call again. then called my cell phone carrier and had the number blocked.
