I got a call saying it was a very important legal matter and that my socials could be blocked and I
would have to appearr in court next week. he says his name is Sam Watson from the legal affidavit
department. I have no  idea what he is talking about..........

I received a call telling me that there was a lawsuit to be filed under my name and SS# what is all this about.

I received a call from a guy named Tom a this number. VERY thick indian accent. Said he was calling from some legal dept and that I owed $550 for some personal loan back in AUG 2010. I didn't take out any loans at that time but they had all my personal infomation. He said if I did not pay it could go to court and if I lose I could end up paying over $4000 in court costs. Who are these people?

I've been told by a payday loan company which, I did take a loan and I did pay back, that these people are scammers who are located somewhere in India somehow remotely through the Internet get an American telphone number and purchase confidentail information from some of these payday sites such as SSN#, bank number, etc.  They then call the individuals and harrass them saying they have a lawsuite against the individual they are calling and that individual must pay them X number of dollars or they will face dire consequences which include law cases and ???? perhaps something else???  Hate to say it but, perhaps 30 lashings?

Anyway I have become a victim of this due to thsi payday loan I took.  I tell the caller to please not call back.
