received message from a colleague  today stating that a return phone call is required by tomorrow from a Mike Anderson if no response will be arrested

calling me saying something about charges will filed against me

Called said i better taker it serious charges will be filled said his name was jimmy walker had an indian accent.

I got 3 calls within 4 hours from 347-435-1808 at my work! The 1sttime he left a message with my co-worker to return their call ASAP ext#143, Mike. So I called 'Mike' back, 1st off, I could barely understand what he was saying due to his heavy Indian accent but the gist was, he's calling from Dept. Of Justice & I'm being investigated for check fraud or something which he says is a Federal Offense. I asked, with surprise, "so you're asking me for money?, how much money are you asking of me?" to which 'Mike' got very agitated & acted offended, saying "I'm an agent with Dept Of Justice & you're trying to bribe me with money?" LOL - SERIOUSLY - then he said "You must pay us $5000.00 u.s. dollars within the next 20 minutes or you will be prosecuted at criminal court", then he hung up, wtf??? I was worried for a bit until I googled the # from caller i.d. & saw it was a scam so when another guy called whithin 1 hour of the original conversation I told him to stop harrasing me at work or I will report them to the police, the other guy freaked out & started yelling "I am the Fu**ing police" and Fu**ing this & that so I hung up. Thank god my work records every call. If these [***] call me again I will be going to the police station & filing a report. These calls took time out of my work & threatened me with incarciration....this is wrong on so many levels!!!!

Yep Indian accent, but my call came from a 979 cell phone number and he left an ext on my voicemail... for a cell phone?  Idiot.  I believe he called my family's home from the other number.  He left my full SSN on my voicemail which is just a generic one and doesn't even state my name.  I'm sure someone from the Department of Justice would do that. I was told I had 5 criminal charges pending and that the charges would be against my home and work.  Wtf does that even mean. I tried to call back with no answer, but I fully intend to rip him a new one just like I did on his voicemail if I actually get him live on the phone.

Yup got a call from 347-435-1808, said his name was Officer James Brown with department of criminal investigation in Brooklyn, NY. Said I had a lawsuit against my social security number. Had my employer's address and full social.

I've had 3 or so calls just like this. They ALWAYS have Indian accents. Today I told the guy I was married to a cop, so I'd like this "officer" to provide me with the name of his sargent, leitenant, and captain, plus badge numbers. He gave me names but no badge numbers. I asked if ALL of them had non-American accents. He said no. I asked to talk to someone with an American accent. Then he proceeded to tell me that 2 investigators were coming to my work within 2 hours and if I didn't have an attorney present, I would get dragged to court. I was like "Oh really, the courthouse in Brooklyn??" (I live in AZ). Then he got very agitated and said NO, IN ARIZONA! I said I haven't been served with any lawsuit paperwork. Are these so-called investigators going to serve me a lawsuit? He said yes. So I asked if a process server was really able to arrest me, as he claimed. He was getting VERY upset at all my questions. haha!  I eventually hung up because he was yelling like his turban was on too tight.

I received a call from supposedly Bureau of Criminal Investigation Tel# 347-345-1808, a Federal operative , Marshal Hudson, informing me that my SSS No. was on hold due fo some criminal case No. 2060 BM Fraud or Loan obligations or something.  When I demanded for the detail of the case, I was referred to Officer Frank Harris; no relations I guess to the actor.  When I talked to Officer Harris, I sensed that they all sound alike, Pakistanis or Indians accent, so I asked Officer Harris if the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (No such office by the way existed in the US, at least) is now outsourced to India or Pakistan, the Guy got upset and demanded that I took seriously my fraud case and settle the matter amicably as they are sending operatives to arrest me. When pressed with their badge numbers, they hang up.  What I am worried about  is that they knew my Social
Security Number and Bank Account Number.  Is there any way I can protect my Social Sec. No. and Bank A/c Number from being used illegally?

By the way Marshal Hudson, always answers the Phone on   347-435-1808 of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation.  Come on Try it..and if you can speak Hindi or Pakistani, try to talk them out of it..

I see that I am not the only one.  Thy had  nerve to call me twice an leave voice mails.  The first time was over two weeks ago and Im still waiting to be served. I freaked out at first because I have never been in this situation but now Im pissed.  So they decided to call back again.  So I started calling them and asking them questions to the point they continuously hang up on me.Today his name is Jack Stuart.  I even called asking for their human resources department so I can get a job, since this is what they do all day.

I've been getting the same exact calls except the officer calling me is Greg Mathews. I do have his threats on my voicemail and now i'm going to file a report because this needs to stop. They told me I have to pay them 315.00 or i'm going to jail so I ask them how to send it because I closed my account and he told me to go get a money card from walmart put the money in the card but DON'T activate the card it will activate when they take the money out.

I also paid these guys 529.35. But called the police and they told me not to pay it. The place I went to get the money at told me that it was a scam and not to pay it. Mr. Craig Miller said if I did not pay I would be arrested. I told them I called the police and they told me not to pay it. He then hung up on me he then called back and said again he was sending the police and hung up on me. I then called him back got some gut who told me Craig Miller on left the building and is on his way to arrested me.

Many calls from this number. Same threats as everyone else. I am reporting it to the US Attorney General's office. These people MUST be STOPPED!!!

This is Officer Marshall Hudson of the State Bureau of New York there is a legal matter that has been filled against your SS number and if you do not call back I will send you file to your state and you will be picked up and arrested.  Call back asap called at work and on my home phone.

I receive a phone call, no name, two different men with Indian accents claiming that i would be arrested if i did not pay for a loan that i did not make, they also claimed that i had made a stop payment.  They claimed to be from thew new York department of Justice, I asked what company had made that claim and they refused to answer, the phone was hanged up on me twice. they knew my social and my place of work.
