This number called me said he was Sergeant something or another, Indian type of an accent, one that you can never understand. Said he was from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation about a loan I have recieved. Which I haven't received any type of a loan. Then they continued and said if you would like to take care of this loan personally or we can send it through courts. "So what would you like to do mam?" I said send it through the courts. I've searched all types reverse phone lookups and I can't find out who owns the number without paying. I don't have the money to pay to find the information. The only thing I could find was it's from New York, New York.

i also recieved the same type of phone call but w threats of jail and warrants being placed for my arrest i believe this is a scam and an filing a report with the local police department. iv also found it was from new york new york.

They called me and i know this is a scam! They have received your information somewhere online and they are calling using your information to get money out of you! Do not give them any information and tell them to do what they have to do and hang up! Thats all you can do

They just called my number too. Same scenario as above. I mentioned that they I am looking there number up on-line and know that this is a scam and they quickly got off the phone with me.

They called me today.  I put a block on my phone to not receive any more phone calls from them.  I tried going to the FCC.gov but the link to file a complaint is broke.  They have been working on the website again.

I gpot a message from this number today also a man with an indian accent and I couldn't understand what he was saying but the just of it was that he wanted to transfer something to me and he tried to sound very official.He wanted more information from me. I did not call back and put a block on this number.

This is a bunch of Middle Eastern scamers residing in the Queens, NY area...trying to get your personal info. If this was really from NYPD Crime Investigation...maybe they could speak in an English that you could understand. Tell them that you have reported them to the US Attorney General and the  FBI !  Also tell them to go back to their country!

iIJUST RECEIVED A CALL JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHERS DESCRIBED FROM AN INDIAN ACCENT PERSON/ I HUNG UP AND HE CALLED ME BACK 3 TIMES UNTIL I HAD TO TURN MY TELEPHONE OFF

This group should be arrested!  I have turned the tables on them and now I call them every single opportunity I get.  The  man with the heavy Indian accent who answers identifies himself as either "Bill" or "Jim Black".  When I ask him to provide me with his Police Officer number, all of a sudden he has trouble with the phone connection.  He does continue to claim he is a police officer and he is with the Criminal Bureau of Investigation...I ask for further information because I would like the Attorney General of my state (PA) to investigate him and his phone calls to work places.  Again...we have a "bad" connection.  I now call him back and refer to him as "Peggy" (the commercials on television about the credit card perks).  I tell him he will hear from me every day, just as I have heard from him.  As information - I have absolutely NO debts for collection even though CBI states that is why they are calling.  The phone number they call from is 347/460-9572.

I hate to admit it but I was scammed. I rcvd a call from a woman named Virginia Douglas from cooperative credit union. With a personal loan for $7500.00. All I had to do was pay the premium of $681.84 & this would be applied to the first 4 months of the loan. They e-mailed me loan documents & they have an active phone number (877) 611-6996. I sent the money via western union & was told the funds would be deposited within 2 to 4 hours. After six hours nothing called back the next day & was told the lender needs to have the loan insured & they would need an additional $471.00. I said no & wanted a refund. They said fine & it's been over a month & Jo money & every time you call them some Indian guy says it's in the mail. I ask for for them to read me the address it was mailed to & they say they don't have the file infrong of them , I say ok I'll hold then they just say have a nice day & hang up. Any help would be appreciated to take these guys down.

Ive been getting text mags with an URL stating I was randomly chosen to receive a 1000.00 gift card from Best Buy, this is not the first time I've rec'd texts from this number, I have replied "Stop" does no good, am going to turn them into my States Atty General.

Just got a text from this number saying I was "randomly chose" for free tickets to a Beatles Movie....immediately deleted it.  Called number from work....poor quality answering machine.  Told them to never text me again (without leaving my number) or I'll report them and I know they are a scam.

I just got text from this number in Las Vegas with this message.

These are scams originating from overseas.  They use computer programs and websites to call you with that disguise their actual overseas phone number and location and to make it look like they are calling you from the U.S.  And the federal and state government law enforcement agencies DON'T DO BILL COLLECTING FOR PRIVATE COMPANIES!  And never give your personal info out to these scammers.  And never reply to their texts cause all those scammers want to know is if your phone number is active or not.  And if you reply then they know they got you.  And you will then start to receive many more texts trying to scam you and also the phone calls start.  Congress needs to make these websites and computer programs illegal.  Call your congressman and senators to get them to act on this so we can shut down these type of scams.
