Called and texted messages saying a warrant has been issued

Just got a message saying a warrant will be issued for me tomorrow if I don't call by 10am, this has to be a scam?

Just got a call from an "unknown" number on my phone.  I ignored, but the message left said a warrant was issued for me and would be carried out at 10am tomorrow.   The contact number leftwas 347-523-5553.  Name of perperson calling was Steven Robinson and said to contactMorgan & LLewis LLP.  These people need to be found and stopped!

I have gotten calls and texts to the same effect from the same number and company but the "lawyer" called himself Richard Smith

Received the same message today 3/3/2015 1:39pm on my cell phone.

I've been in the USA three weeks and had a message and a text   How could I have a warranty for me after three weeks full on scam

this happen to me as well 3/3/15 he left a voicemail stating that he was steven robinson head quarters of a correctional department and theres been a complaint on my name and soical so a warrent will be processed tomorrow morning and that i still have time to lift that warrent so he gave me this contact number and ask for richard smith (347)523-5553 to speak with an attorney by the end of the day to lift my warrent

I received the same call from the same person, he says a warrant will be processed by 10 am the following morning and to stop the warrant I need to call Lewis and Smith and talk to someone...
It is a scam if was real nobody calls to warm you about a warrant.. I hope they catch and stop them !!

I just received the same message with same attorney name...called back and got not answer...hmmmm...has to be a scam or they would not warn about warrant...idiots

Received a text message yesterday from this number from Steven Robinson from Headquarters Collection Dept. stating that a complaint will be filed by 10AM today and warrant issued - and that I should call back and ask for attorney Richard Smith @ Morgan & Lewis LLP.

Based on the comments I am seeing I will ignore.  These type of calls scare the hell out of me - I wish there was some way to track them down and shut them down!

The Hindi sounding idiot that left a message says his name was Stewart Robinson. Just to update the thread. The last time someone pulled this he tried to say he was on my local sheriff's department. I happen to go target shooting with 73% of the officers in my county. Needless to say they were not amused about this scam.

Want to have fun and reduce your stress? call this little weasel and tell him you know this is a scam and has been reported to the C3I unit of the FBI which it has been. He will go bonkers and you get to call him every lowlife name you can think of. His response will be to try to cuss you out like a little kid on the school yard.

I didn't get to tell him that their scam is so old and used that people have gotten used to it and will plug their number into the internet for due diligence.
