Got a call from Peter today wanting to purchase a Toshiba 42" 1080P LCD TV. He gave me the 347-535-0645 callback number, but my caller ID on my phone showed 233-247-268613, which didn't make any sense.

Phone number is AFRIKA, 233-247-268613 either Ghana or Nigeria, BEWARE !!!

This number is back in use - now for IRS scam "Donna Spencer from the investigations department of the IRS".

1-3475350645 phone number is IRS scam. They almost got me. They say that I will be arrested today because I owe money to IRS. I said I don't owe anything and I filed with H&R block but  they are an organized crime unit they are trained criminals they know the ways to convince you They said even if its a mistake they will put me in jail because I haven't responded to their letters I said I didn't get any letters. They knew my address my bank accounts and everything about me. They tried to get money from me asking that I have get money from my credit card at the bank than make bankers prepare a a bank voucher for the amount and a police officer will come and I have to show it to him and he will scan it and get the money.(This is asked when I said I don't have that much money on my bank account)The woman was insisting to stay on the phn with me for the whole time that I go to the bank and get the money voucher and insisting that I cant talk to anyone about this. This is now or police coming to put me in jail. That's where I knew that no IRS personnel would stay on the phone till they get money. They don't want you to call IRS yet I took the risk knowing that I'm not guilty of anything and called IRS however it was impossible to reach them than I called a lawyer and he confirmed that it is a scam.  Someone have to do something about this. I have their voice message that I'm willing to give it to IRS so they can put those criminals behind bars before they hurt innocent people.
