A guy with foreing acient says he repersent Cashnet and he woud like to advised me that the federal government is watching my house and they are going to put me in jail to set an example for other who have not paid. says i will lose my job and will  not be able to get a job for 24 months. Then he says i need to pay 500.00 today. He put me on hold then came abck and said he had a hard time convencing his person to let me pay the 500.00. will he was talking the call drop, so now he will think i hung up on him and will continue to harass me at work.

This guy calls and says he is an Officer and that I owe money. I told him to stop calling and send me the paperwork showing what I owe and to who. He had an accent and kept calling back when I hung up. This happens every few months and gets very irate when I keep asking questions. This is a different number than the last time.

Have any of you actually paid them? I got a call yesterday and I don't know what to do.

yes i paid to them and found it legal because these guys provided me a legal document after my payment

roxy..be very careful there are a  lot of scams going on with these pdls..do not pay anybody until you check it out also NEVER NEVER GIVE THEM ANY BANKING INFO THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY...even if you do own the debt USE MONEY ORDERS TO PAY THEM..if you use your c/c they will max it out in one day if you sent them a check your banks name account and routing number is on it and they will debit your account while you sleep..also there is 12 states where the pdl is illegal that means THEY DID NOT HAVE A LICENSE TO LOAN YOU MONEY and they wont take you to court because the judge will fine them thousands of dollars for loaning money without a license...if you happen to live in one of the illegal states my suggestion si to pay back what you borrowed DO NOT PAY ANY INTEREST OR PROCESSING FEES AND SUBTRACT ANY PAYMENTS YOU MADE..you borrowed 500.00 pay back 500.00 these IDIOTS does not make a profit.

Totally bogus. Check your credit report and you will find that there is no account on which they are supposedly trying to collect. What's scary is that they've stolen some personal information to try to convince folks that they're 'for real'. Obviously a scam to steal bank account or credit card information. Filed a complaint with both the FTC and FCC ... hope these guys will get shut down soon. Jack-wagons!
