- ddreceived several voice mail messages from "John Peters" saying that there have been legal complaints filed against me and if I don't respond they will contact my employer and will take legal action against me. When I blocked my number and called it back, it was not answered professionally, just Hello? When I asked who it was all they did was laugh. The original message claimed to be from "PCS".
- C.r.They have called me different times from this number, the most recent being today. Lots of noise in the background. The person sounds of Indian decent however claims their name is John Peters. They called there are legal claims against my name and social security number for fraud with the US govt and that if I did not respond they would have no option but to take legal action against me. The number that showed up on my cell phone's caller ID was simply "19"
- Caller: PCS (Public Credit Services)
- PJI recived a call from a Indian guy by the name of Sgt Smith saying that he was calling from PCS and that there was a law suite agaist me and if I did not call back or have my atoney to call they would have legal actions agaist me . There was a lot of noise in the background . And when I called the number back there was no answer this is not the only call I have recived I get them at least 3 times a week from differant numbers and all I do is block them but I would like to know how can this be stopped???/
- Caller: PCS
- kathyalot of noise in the background.. asked for Jackie Williams. The guy tried to get me to say the phone number where I worked. Did NOT give it to them... then he said that I will need to look up your fines. I hung up. this is not the first time that I received a phone call like this. the only way to stop it is to file a police report, document when they call. Give them (the people calling) the invesgitagtors phone number. that is what I do... Then they stop... I supposvily was going to jail.. hm.. don't you think that when I went to the police station, that they would have locked me up by now..

- Tired of These CallsThis is the third round I've had with these jokers. The started calling in February saying I took a loan I did not pay back -- not true. They said there were three charges against my social security number and that they would file an affidavit to the court in New York (I guess they don't understand legal jurisdiction) if I didn't respond. I asked the called (a foreigner with a ridiculous 'American' name) what an affidavit was and was hung up on. So I called back. In any case, I've been through these calls harassing phone calls three times in the past 5 months. The number will come up as unknown or as a few digits. This time they called me at work which is going too far. I've reported them to the FBI and internet crimes commission. When 'Jackie Williams' called today, I told him I'd reported their company to the FBI and I was then cussed out -- nothing coherent, just a string of expletives. The first time I got calls from this number (or similar number) I googled it and some people said that they were trying to collect money for outstanding fake debts in the form of visa gift cards. In any case -- file a report so it's documented, block the number, but don't be frazzled. It's nothing more than a scam.
- Caller: PCS or BSC -- couldn't understand the poor English
- GMAThey have called my work and said there name is Jeff Walker. Can't really understand them and there is alot of noise in the back ground. The number that comes up is 0000000000. This is annoying. Can't understand him broken English. There has to be a way for them to stop these harrasing phone calls.
- Caller: PCF
- tasheimaThey called at 7:47am with a lot of noise in the background saying have my lawyer to call and legal action will be taken against me. I am tired of the calls. They call everyday and he say his name is aron brooks

- EmployerHave received calls from a "Spencer McKenzie" claiming to be representing Advanced Cash USA. Looking for an employee claiming they took out a loan and did not honor the check. VERY unprofessional with some of the most creative uses of obscenities I have ever heard. Anyone know how to get it stopped? From my research online it seems it is a scam that is being reported all over the US. Had a great deal of difficulty even getting them to tell me a company name.

- LizFirst time call from this number. I have received several others--all from people with "ridiculous" American names coming from heavy eastern Indian accents. Person identified as Alec Johnson at PCS. This one same as many above--legal matters against my Social Security number. Called my office phone. Receive regular calls on my cell phone from 'UNKNOWN" or as mentioned, 2 or 3 digit numbers. I've issued a Fraud Alert to the FTC and have already heard from the three credit bureaus. If anyone attempts to use my information to secure money, the agencies will be alerted and will alert me. But it's only for 90 days. Also reported to the FTC. Yet they keep calling. I just don't answer anymore. But like an earlier post, I should have been in jail a month ago if these lug nuts were legit. Still, they are scary and can ruin your day for a few hours.

- Cathy| 1 replygot a call at work from these people, they are harassing and stressful, nothing but scammers, they give out your personal information to people you work with and are totally illegal, this all starts if you get a payday loan, which I have done, but will never do again, they sell your information to these companies that try scare tactics to get money from you and unfortunately, I even succombed to one and sent them $$$ at first, BIG MISTAKE, it gets even worse after that, it is very scary, but unless they are willing to send you legal documents either through the mail or by email, then tell them to leave you alone
