Just got a voice mail from a woman with a heavy accent, stating that I committed fraud and will be arrested in three to four days. Really? Call the # and they will not tell me who they are, just hang up. Anyone know what can be done about this?

I just received a call from a man, stating his name as Jackson, and that I need to call him back and I will regrate it. What can be done, this makes you feel very afraid.

Its a scam they are calling from Pakistan.

I just received a call today 11/24/10 at 12:35pm here at my job from a woman named Christina ? I couldn't make out her last name and her phone sounded funky, I told her that and she hung up. Then a Kevin Foster called stating he was from the ACS law firm and that I had a case pending to go to court on Monday. I immediately at what court and asked the companies number and address and start to look them up online and as usual it is an address that lead to no where. He got very angry and rude when I asked questions, telling me not to interrupt him, but I don't care, I let them know that they are the frauds and not to call me or bother me anymore. At one time one company said they were from social services, then from an attorneys office,  I also report them to the FTC.

I have received calls from a person's identifying themselves as Charles Green and Sean or Shawn Taylor claiming that I took out a cash advance loan and defaulted on it and I am being sued.

constantly calling me at work and at home. leaving threatening messages on my phone. call back nume and get no response. accent sounded asian.

I received a telephone call from this woman-foreign accented woman.  From what I could understand, she stated that I was in "big trouble" and that I would be sent to jail.  Please, for what??  She stated that I needed to return the call to her and if I did not, I would regret it.  When I listed to the message, she sounded as if she was reading from a script.  I receive the same telephone call from foreign accented males, reading the same message.  I am not afraid, nor will I return these calls.  I don't like calling people stupid but these people do not seem to know how to look for "real employment", but take pleasure playing on the weakness and fears of others.  Do not call these people, they are a joke!!

She called and left a message at my place of employment from telephone number 347 635 5961.
There was a lot of static and noise in the background.  Please note these people call me at least once a week and then they will let up for a while and then pick up the harrassment again.  Total idiots.

I have had several calls from this number, and voicemails, stating I would be put behind bars. That they are going to send a warrant to my boss, which I said was fine, and when I tried to give them my fax number to my place  of employement they transfered me around and hung up on me. They're threatening and incompetent. I called back several times trying to get information from then or give them information they were threatening to use against me anyway but just hung up. Is this for real? I believe the company name was Lamefier Associates... it was hard to understand them. The main guy who keeps calling, his name is Max Maurice.

I received a call 11/29/10 on my machine from "Jennifer" with an oriental type accent stating that I was being sued and that I must not disregard the call.  Said I must call her back.  Continued with her threatening stern voice about calling them back then at the end she said "Bless You".  Really?  So I called the 347-635-5961 number back and got a gentleman with a thick India/Pakistan accent stating that I was being sued for an unpaid loan.  He wanted my phone number and when I told him I had two phone lines going to that answering machine and didn't know what number they called he got mad.  Then he wanted my name and when I told him and tried to spell it for him, he didn't understand me saying "s" as in "sam" but thought it was sam.  I told him I could not understand the woman who left the message and that I was having a hard time understanding him.  I kept asking him "who" was suing me.  He got mad and finally said Cash Advance.  I told him I never did anything with them.  He said it was through another company.  I finally said I just don't understand all this and he hung up on me.  I think I will call the Public Utilities Commission in our state and see if they know what's going on and how to stop it.

he told me i owe something $750.i was going to pay that because i was scared i agreed but be4 i pay.i just checked this site and i came 2 know that they are a scam and i called them and told m not paying but exactly after 2 days there was FDBA officers at my door steps they served me the doccuments, took me to the costudy and after that they took me 2 court and there i paid a huge fine of $5500.i cried alot and pls dont belive these people they ve faced the trobule like me and wanted to fool other people..

Oh Kathi Owens, if that is your real name as I am sure it is not!! First of all, you should probably learn how to speak english before you try to make people believe that you are an american. You may also want to check out the Fair Debt Collections Practice Act, the FTC and be aware that you can not be arrested for owing a debt nor can you make any threats of any kind to try and collect a debt, if you were in fact a law firm then you should know these rules. It is painfully obvious that you work for this ring of scam artists. You should find a legal way to make money and stop trying to take it from hard working Americans. I myself have reported you to the FBI as well as the Federal Trade Commission, and know of other people who have done the same, so as you wished me good luck in whatever comes my way in the threating bullcrap message that you left me, I wish you good luck because you will be caught and brought to justice. Americans are not fools and here in America you pay for your illegal activities.

These people are insane.  Go along sweet as pie and when they tell you they are recording the conversation for "legal Purposes"  just tell them that you will be doing the same.  Boy they get pissed. Ask them for their lawyer identification number.  The do not have one.  Tell them that you will supply them with a fax number to submit all the paperwork to you.  When you turn the table on them they will hang up and you will not be getting phone calls for a while.  I have been getting them on and off since August.  The first time I was scared to death.  I actually called my attorney and he told me to google the number and that it was a scam.  I felt so silly.  But they do have your information so you need to call the attorney generals office and report them.  Also the local police and your credit report.  I did have money coming out of my account that was not approved by myself or my husband.  I do not know if this was from these numbers or not.  I have closed all the old accounts.  Just be aware because they  do know a lot about you.  Be careful of anything that you do on line.

i keep getting these calls from a "John Alexander", and that if I don't call him back, may god bless you. these guys are a scam, don't fall for them.

fcuk you, you r wrong as these people really helped me out to resolve a issue about a bill out side the court... so don't you dare to tell something wrong about people.....

Ok I've been dealing with these [***] for a couple months now.  I've started having so much fun with them it makes my day better!  When / if they call just ask questions like, where did you pass the bar exam, what is your law firms website, they get pissed and hang up.  I had one guy put me hold for a couple minutes and then gave me a website for a law firm.  I told him I'd call him right back and then called the law firm and they had never heard of him and asked me for his phone number so they could sue him for defimation of their law practice.  I then called the indian dude back and told him my findings and he said he was confused why they stated he didn't work at that law firm.  I then stated that the FBI will love the information I found out.  He hung up immediately.

People don't be conned into this crap.  First of all, if you are going to be sued for money owed a law firm is not going to call you and tell you.  You cannot go to jail having any kind of judgement for money owed so tell them to call your attorney and not to ever call you again.

They are all pieces of [***] just like you must be!  If you wastes of life put this much energy being a contributing member of society, you could probably actually have decent lives.  Come to my house in Arizona and collect the debt I owe, I bet you don't have the stones!

Hey, received such a call like that today, my phone number did not match any in their system, ask for another number. I got hostile with her at the way she spoke, which she then cussed me out.
 Did not like it when i told them the courts do not work that way, the only way to have a court case is to be notified by a deputy, they hung up. What nerve, a bill collector hanging up on me! lol..

tell them to go f them self i get a call from them every day and every day i cursed them out.
