They said they are with The United States Investigation Department and are saying that I committed fraud by taking out a loan with Cash Advance USA.  This is bogus I NEVER have taken out a cash advance loan!

I got this one too. It's a SCAM. 347-762-1444.  Thick middle-eastern accents and bad English translations in their scripts, American names "Officer Kevin" and "Tom Scott" are the ones I got. Claiming to be "Affidavit Officers" who will arrest me if I don't pay $500 to them by prepaid visa card. PUULLEASE.

Tom Scott's voice mail says he will call me back "At his Communions" which I'm guessing is a bad translation attempt to say "at his convenience".  Ha!

He got really MAD when I told him I, too, am an Affidavit Officer, and I have just received a fraud complaint on an "Officer Kevin" and "Tom Scott" and will be there to arrest them shortly.  I just turned the scam right around on them, and they got so IRATE! It was hilarious!!!

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!

I got this to! He asked for an old employee said he was officer Joseph Williams and to have employee call him back. Just like above heavy middle-eastern accent. Then this person began to call over and over again (5-6 times) with volgar comments towards me I kept hanging up and finally my boss (after 3 more calls) got him to stop. I have worked in an office for over thirty years and have never had this happen. Several of the calls also said private in the caller ID but one other number was 804-761-3786
