I received two calls this morning on my cell phone. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. He left a voice mail, though I could hardly understand it. Lots of noise in the back ground, very bad connection and the man had a heavy accent. He also called my work. Lucky for me I answer the phone. I could barely understand him, as the phone line kept breaking up. This guy said his name was Thomas Brown and he was from the law firm of Andrew Marshall as stated in another posted comment. My husband got a call last month from another "attorney's office" on a Friday afternoon saying that if he didn't pay $1200.00 NOW that he will be arrested on Monday.(Thanks for the warning! ) Husband called police dept and FBI. They said it was a scam. They said to tell the caller, we will contact our attorney and get back to them. We never heard from them again.

I am so sick of these people calling me everyday x30. I also receive about 10 vmails per day and cannot understand a word of it.

If this is a scam how do I get rid of them please? Report to Better Business Bureau?

Any advice on this issue is appreciated.

I got a call from a guy who said he was an attorney, and that I owed $420 from a cash advance loan.  He said there was a lawsuit being filed against me, but that he could convince his client to let me pay it through a money order at Wal-mart to avoid court.  I have researched and found this to be a major scam.  BUT, he had all my information -- social security and driver's license #, etc.  Very scary.

I have recieved calls from andrew marshall law firm from a man named john johson  phone #3478295632 telling me i will be arrested for fraud due to cash advance loan that ii received .my attorny is looking into the matter and will be contacting them --have recieved other call from cash advance also..

This guy refuses to quit called me 10 x in a row saying if I didn't pay or give my lawyers info.then they would issue a warrent for my arrest. Had my s.s number.

hi i am receiving these calls again...saying the same thing...they call back to back i dont answer how do i get rid of these people
