I am so tired of unknown/unwanted calls coming in at inopportune times which interrupt either my sleep or whatever else I am trying to do.  What else besides the national do not call list can a person do?  Just received 3 calls within a one hour period.  So sick of it.  I pay my phone bill, yet I cannot restrict these low life scammers from bothering me.

In the UK we can buy Call Blocking Units and Call blocking 'phones which can be set up to stop all unwanted calls.  Amazon is one of the companies which sell them here, so why not check them out. There are probably lots of other options in the USA so Google "Call Blocking Units" and see what turns up.

Under no conditions give access to your computer to the caller. These guys are bogus and looking to gather information from you and your computer.

Yup, don't give them any info. "Tech support" scammers, for sure.
