Who is calling to me this number and why?

Received the call from voicemail at 4.46pm GMT no message was left at all.

Seit einiger Zeit werde ich in Abständen von ca. 5 - 6 Tagen immer wieder angerufen.

Habe einfach den Eindruck, dass er eine falsche Endziffer hat - aber ich nehme das Tel. nicht ab, da es wahrscheinlich in portugiesisch geführt wird / würde.

This number belongs to the Nielsen Research Call Center. I'm taking part in a Nielsen household research and they always call me with this number. So you can pick up, nothing bad ;)

Die sprechen auch Deutsch/German, depends from which country you are ;)

They phoned me several times. I finally picked up. Nobody answered, but I could hear background voices. ery annoying. How can we report them?

Today they (Nielsen) called me 3 times with only 2 or three rings

They also called me and the woman just hung up on me when I answered

Just had this call but hardly heard it, I said I couldnt hear it and she hung up.

I just spoke to Nielsen UK (+44 1865 742742) and explained what is happening. The guy told me that my number had found it''s way onto one of their consumer panels and it was their call centre in Portugal calling me. He said he was going to get the number removed so I will wait to see if he was successful!

I have to say the person I spoke to was incredibly understanding of my irritation and seemed genuinely concerned and wanted to fix the issue.

I had a missed call from this number, but have never heard of Nielsen and am not part of any market research...

Estoy hasta las narices de recibir llamadas de este numero de teléfono. Me llaman constantemente desde las 10 de la mañana hasta las 8 de la tarde. ayer recibí 9 llamadas. Rechacé la llamada las 9 veces por lo que no entiendo que sigan llamando (esta mañana ya van dos veces y solo son las 11.30.

Me parece vergonzoso que se permita acceder a los datos particulares de la gente de esta manera. Si todos los call centers hicieran lo mismo tendríamos la agenda copada con número de teléfonos bloqueados.

Quizá si los usuarios decidiéramos putear a las compañías de teléfono con una huelga de no usar telefonía en x días se tomarían mas en serio el proteger las líneas contra las llamadas de esta basura de empresuchas (call centers, servicios Premium......)

Die wollen ja nur das Du abnimmst, denn ab dem Moment bist Du dann auch "an den Telefonkosten beteiligt", und das kann bei einem Auslandsanruf gleich mal schön teuer werden. Das läuft so nach dem ReeCallprinzip hat mir jemand gesagt der sich damit etwas auskennt. Mit der Masche könne man richtig gut abkassieren, denn wenn da jemand abhebt ist er gleich mal mit mindestens 2,99 EURO dabei, und wenn der Anrufer davon ca. 1 EURO "Profit" bekommt ist das schon was.
Einzige Gegenmaßnahme: klingeln lassen irgendwann rufen die nicht mehr an.

Die sind ja sogar froh wenn sie Dich nicht erreichen. Das einzige was die wollen ist, dass die Nummer auf Deinem Display ist, und Du denkst es sei ein wichtiger Anruf und zurück rufst. Aber das kann dann richtig teuer werden ...

Got a 5 minute long 100% silent voicemail at 8:38pm on my mobile from withheld number.

But my mobile auto blocks all withheld and also unknown calls due to stupid scams called me 42 times in one hour once.

To unknown numbers that show my mobile texts them saying the call was unsuccessful...  

Even though I got voicemail from withheld number..  My phone text this number with the unsuccessful message..

After looking at some reviews it seems to be neilson..  Which I DID apply for and expected a call weeks ago for.

So why are they calling weeks late from withheld and Pakistan numbers this time in the evening?

Nobody calls after 6pm except family and nobody calls after 9pm unless it's an emergency..  

And more importantly..  Why leave a 5 minute completely BLANK voicemail?
