I received a call today from the claims pages - when I asked to have our number put on their internal do not call list they said they don't have one.  I then went to their website and sent an email to all of their email addresses listed - 'info@claimspages.com'; 'editor@claimspages.com'; 'sales@claimspages.com'; 'saleseast@claimspages.com'; 'saleswest@claimspages.com'

THEN - a guy claiming to be the VP called and asked for me, he then asked for my boss.  My boss just laughed and said she did not feel like wasting her time talking to him and to just put him through to her voice mail.  The guy must have thought I didn't have the authority to ask them to not call again.  He called from 800-947-0646.

A very nice lady called about transcribing insurance reports.  The call came in on my cell phone.  The number she was calling from was 352-253-0018.  I thought at first it was a call regarding new business, but found out after talking with her for several minutes she wanted to add my company information to a contact list for insurance companies.  When she started telling me what it would cost to advertise my listing in their book, I told her we were not in a position to pay for advertising at this time.

Two salesmen from the claims pages call my cell phone everyday. They both leave the same message everyday. A few days ago they started blocking the number in hopes that I will pick up. They are pushy and annoying.

You dont need stuff like this to be successful in the restoration business

This is the worst company out there. It is owned and managed by crooks. They not only rip off companies but they rip off there own employees. The owner Scott Plakin is the biggest thief and his manager Phil Imbrenda is a scumbag. I dont know how this company is still operating but it needs to be shut down.. They pay there employees below minimun wage and get away with it. They brow beet there employees into submission. They company is a total scam there books r not used by anyone, i use mine to wipe my behide with. The working conditions are no better then any sweat shop in china. Employees r treated worse then animals, yelled and screamed at to make a sale make a sale. God forbid if an employee gets sick your screamed at and belittled. It is worse then being in a consintration camp. I feel sorry for anyone that stays there and allows themselves to be treated like this. There are plenty of companies out there that treat their employess like humans. GET OUT OF THERE NOW

Sadly there is more than one credit card thief on their payroll. Ashly Cochran was also convicted of credit card theft. Of the 15 or so people in that office you have two convicted credit card thieves (actually there's 4, the 2 owners just haven't been convicted) YET

You can tell you are a scorned EX employee. Get your facts straight before you slander them or their employees and don't be butt hurt because you didn't have what it takes to make it there. I have advertised with them for years as an Independent Adjuster in Texas and it's worked great for me for the past 3 prints!

I got a call from them asking if we were able to provide services to home owners that had suffered water damage or any other related insurance claims in their homes, I responded yes and gave her our credentials. Melissa asked several questions about our business which I replied thinking this a legit company wanting to use our services. I asked a few times since the beginning if they were an advertising company or printing directories, etc she said over and over "no". At times she used the "technique" of telling me perhaps "we were not capable of doing this services" and gave me a few tricks like these as if we were not good enough to provide services (this technique makes you think they are legit and they want you to work for them trying to get you more challenged to "get their contract"). She said they only use very few vendors in San Diego, CA (we were pretty much among perhaps 2 others because they were "very selective" in who they decide to take on). Towards the end I said let me check your company customers reviews on line and she actually wanted me to go to her page instead of sites like this one, ripoffreport.com, etc then she got defensive and started justifying some of the complaints, etc. That's when I saw they are actually Nationwide Publishing Company, Inc. Phone: (800) 466-9267 and also doing business as Claims Pages! Hello?? All this time they were an advertising company trying to get my money with their fraudulent shady techniques pretending to be the one that puts together the jobs for us. BTW when I stopped answering her calls from the 800 number, she started calling from (480)361-4682, (480)361-9634, (480)361-8947, (480)361-4682, (480)361-4690, (480)385-3912 I did work for several companies that did claims work, and NEVER did we hear from such a company like hers, we all were contacted directly by Farmers Ins., State Farmers, Gaico, etc and were hired by them directly. Melissa also had the nerve to say that most of the customers would have the materials there ready for us to do the work, etc. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE, THIS IS JUST AN ADVERTISING COMPANY with very FRAUDALENT practices AND once you pay them you will be told THERE IS NO REFUND POLICY whatsoever, so you will NEVER get your money back.

    re:nunyabiz comment

TRUST ME take it from many of us whom worked for this company for several years only to find out that we were only victims much like our customers in a ripoff to say false things and do whatever it took to make a sale! This company is just an advertising company that continues to sweep all their dirty deeds under the rug. They continue to hire back convicted felons of credit card theft back under sur names or have them operate as independent contractors out of their homes. BUYER BEWARE. If you have no morals or don't care to continue to work for a company whom continues to do everything and anything to keep their secrets from getting out especially the owners Scott Plakon and Phillip Imbrenda then go for it however once you find out that the wool has been pulled over your eyes or u get canned because you were only doing what they demanded you do to make that sale you will have a new clearer outlook on things...much like all their prior employees. This is a company that has gone from close to 100 sales employees to less than 25 in a few years....what does that tell you?? Use your head for once and get out now before you become their next scapegoat

I worked for them for 2 months. I agree with you. I got out as soon as I found out that no adjuster uses the huge phone book style manual. More than half the book is filled with ads. How exclusive are you??? They get as many contractors that will fall for what they are selling. PDo not work for this sweat shop either. If I needed to go to the bathroom, they would time how long I was in there. But it was always okay for others to take smoke breaks. I felt as though I was handcuffed to my desk.

I work for this company now. They are not a scam. Yes its true that many adjusters do not use the book but I know they have a 82% renewal rate & contractors have told me it helped them. It isn't a magic pill but if contractors renew that much, it obviously helped them! Also, they pay me well and treat me nicely. Its all about your efforts. If they see you are working hard, they will treat you like family. I love working there. Shawn Barlow is an amazing & talented mentor
if you were treated like [***] or fired you were probably calling in sick or being lazy.
