I've had several calls from this number and when I pick up they don't say anything

just had another call from this number.  it shows no name and when I say hello, they don't say anything and just hang up

I have received 3 calls from this number and the same thing no one talks. just air!

Got numerous calls from this number. They call several times a day and leave no message.

Just got a call and they asked for the woman of the house by name.  Asked who was calling they said "Greg" but when asked about who he was with all he said was from a "fundraising donation" but didn't specify.  They have called before.  What can we do to get these people to stop?

They called us on a Sunday evening-about 630pm, but hung up when they got our answering machine.

Numerous calls to our house from this number starting a week or so ago.  We only ever let the answering machine pick-up, which produces a 5ish second long message with no sound.  Annoying.

Just received a call from this phone number.  Picked up the receiver and no one was on the other end after saying "Hello" a couple of times so I hung up.  Hum!  Very disturbing...

just got a call from this number. ask for the lady of the house by first name as if they were friends.

Have receive way to many calls from this number really getting tired of it

This number calls my number just about once a week.. Never leaves a message if I'm not
here,, and when I am here,, and answer the phone - no one ever says anything.. It stays
an open line until I hang up - regardless of how many times I'll say "hello"...  Whoever
they are - they're one strange person,, or persons... The caller ID only shows Florida and
the number... This has been going on for several weeks and I sure wish it could be stopped..

Called the number back.  "Kenny" answered.  I asked what company it was and he said they work for Homeless Veterans.  I asked to be taken off the list

I just received a call from this number.  My caller ID indicated Dunnellon, Fl.  When I do not know the number on the caller ID I just answer and hang up within a second from the call.  I get to many of these calls from all over the country

Caller ID says:  "Florida"  when I answered nothing happened.

Got a call from them this morning. Caller ID said call from Florida. The woman said she was collecting money for homeless vets. She said there are 400,000 homeless vets in the U.S. and they were starving.
I hung up. I checked her numbers the V.A. says there are around 107,000 across the U.S. If there were 400,000 people of any background starving in U.S we certainly would see it in every paper, magazine, and every newscast.

I called the number back, it is for a donation seeking company for homeless veterans.  They asked for my father, I informed them that this was a private cell phone number and to remove it from their list; we'll see if they comply.

We have received calls from the same number of 352-533-3410. They called again today, and as always, did not leave a message, they just disconnected. We have also received calls from additional numbers from bogus businesses and scams for several months now. We all know there are multiple area codes that scammers use. Here is a website that just list a few of them, and the type of calls that people are receiving.

These bogus calls are now also being recieved by cell phone users. Here is a link to the FCC. It is just one of the websites that provides a warning about some of the scammers and the area codes they are using.

I just wanted to share and hope you find the information useful. I don't like to see anyone getting scammed. It is just a shame that people have to deal with these calls.

I've been receiving calls for a week now with no messages left (I don't answer NOT AVAILABLE calls).  Called them back and the solicitor said she represents the AMERICAN HOMELESS VETERANS Charity and claims to be a NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION.  She said that donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE.

HOWEVER, when I asked to have material mailed to me before I make a decision, she said that they insist on a monetary "commitment" first as mailings do "detract from their cause".  Since I refuse to commit w/out papers in hand, and they refuse to send w/out committment, I said we cannot do business and to remove my number from their files.  She said OK.

Check the BBB listing for INDIANA and you'll see some strange comments by the Better Business Bureau that really makes you wonder.
