2 calls from this number, which I did not answer.  The caller ID said the call was from Westport, WA

Getting calls from this number too, just started this week. According to my research (Thank you *69), this is what I found out:

Simple solution that often works… get a digital recorder, call any fax number, record the computer trying to connect to you. When the scammers call you again, answer the phone and play the recording. Most computer calling programs are designed to delete fax machines from the call list. I keep a recorded fax by the phone all the time, great for getting rid of many pests working by phone.

If they are a survey company why are they hanging up? They are surveying for other scam companies to see if it's a live number. They are just scum.

I wouldn't answer my phone. I screen my calls! too many bad people out there!!!!

They aren't from Westport.  Obviously, the phone company is selling small town phone numbers to overseas business in an attempt to get past caller ID.  FYI there are NO local phone numbers in 360-268 prefix that begin in the 8000s, they are all 0000's, 1111's and 9000s.

I received a call from  that same number the other night at 9PM.  He said he was taking a survey for my new apartment complex due to my just moving and when I called my new apartment office they told me that it was actually on the up and up so now I don't know what to believe.  The next morning at 10:30 AM I got another call from yet another number telling me I had just won a cruise so who knows.  I told the first guy that I had no idea who he really was and that i wouldn't take his survey which seemed to confuse him.  Obviously I just hung up when  i got the "free" cruise one but I know I need to start looking at phone numbers I receive before picking up the phone.

They called me again. Message on my phone was: Hello? Can I please talk to the head of the house hold? then they hung up.

I received this call today and was curious that it was SSI, so I answered it and since it was regarding dental insurance, I
asked if it had anything to do with social security.  When he said no, it was a survey company, I told him that was very misleading and verging on the dishonest.  I told him I would not talk to them and hung up.

Just got another call from this number, says "SSI" on CID.  I have this number on my "do not accept" list so it only rang once.

It is a survey company. They called my house for a survey in my latest shopping experience at Sports Authority, which I did visit within the last three weeks, and used my membership card for a purchase.

These people have been calling me constantly.  they never say anything on the phone, but after a couple of minutes, just hang up.  A real annoyance.

I live in Mount Vernon WA.  Receiving multiple calls per day for the last several days from this number.  Some we answer and there is no one there.  Others we don't answer and it just disconnects without a message.

I've been receiving calls to my home as well as cell from this #. I screen my calls so haven't answered each time. They call 3-5x per day and never leave a msg. Incredibly irritating!!

Constant spam calls after using a previously unknown number for bing.com rewards verification. They started about 30 min after giving bing.com my phone number.
Microsoft must be selling phone numbers to this scammer..

This is just one of many numbers used to contact unsuspecting people.  It says SSI on caller ID, but has nothing to do with Social Security program or anything else.  Scam telemarketers.  I have blocked all callers using SSI ID.  But they keep coming up with new numbers.
